Thank You for this wonderful look at a few GOOD men fighting for Ukraine!!! When Victor got emotional, I did too. They all gave a little look into their lives and that made them personable and NOT just soldiers. When they were in the forest, that jay bird squawking made the scene all the more real. Really made a difference seeing that there is still wildlife. Glory to Ukraine! Slava Ukraine! God Bless Ukraine!

Very impressed with these lads, their professionalism shows clearly, far smarter as soldiers than the orcs. Even pulling up for the first time near the burning house, they don't get lazy, they go into what we call a 'hide' drill, especially with vehicles, you notice they back them in tail to tail, off the road, so they can bug out easily but also to provide all round cover. The LMG operator sets up a defensive position despite it being just a stop. Those little actions done all the team keep a good team alive. Lights covered on vehicles, constant radio contact, clears cellar of booby traps....awesome group and again that's why they are scouts and still alive and I'd happily work with them any day. 👍🇺🇦🇺🇦💪🇬🇧 Slava Ukraini

I'm just commenting on their professionalism as soldiers based on my 15 years as an army lad. These were rugby players and civilians now acting as reconnaissance scouts and for me doing a bloody good job of it. Don't forget again that since 2014, the Ukrainian armed forces was totally restructured, retrained and in the process of being re-equipped and still training when this happened. Up against the second most powerful army in the world (load of shit we know now), so they have done an awesome job as a nation. So please explain your comment in the context of my initial comments simply about how professional these guys were.

They are very good at making reports, after all their president is an actor. Russian side doesn't do much reporting and tube's automatic subtitles are always ruined even for when they speak very clearly. So much about reporting when one needs to know both sides.

I understand why you didn't know about the popularity of Rugby in this part of the world considering the dominance of Football but Russia, Ukraine, Poland & Georgia, for example, all have national Rugby teams. The list could go on but Rugby is a popular sport there. As the gentleman said, "... a combat sport." Being from New Zealand, I can appreciate this.

These are nice humans with family in the first place. Some of their rugby mates are killed or missing in battle. But they also know South Africa supports Russia and don’t condemn their war against Ukraine in UN. It becomes embarrassing. While Russia bombs hospitals (killing a newborn baby), energy plants so 10 million people have no heat or electricity while it becomes very cold there.

I am a U.S. combat Veteran. This was excellent coverage showing the "men at the front" going about their (dangerous) business. Most compelling were the mini bios at the end. I appreciated the information. IMO you should make an entire video dedicated to showing the world who the everyday Ukrainians are, these men fighting in the trenches. I don't know about others, but after watching this video, and reading the bio on each soldier, I found myself wanting to do even more than what I've already done. (Currently I have donated a few thousand to organizations specifically dedicated to attending to soldiers' needs, and providing aid to the civilian population. I also am on social media supporting the war effort at every turn, and communicating with our government officials, telling them to keep the aid and war matériel flowing into Ukraine.) I'm especially concerned about the winter months. I want every Ukrainian soldier to be fully equipped so they do not suffer in the freezing cold. 🇺🇦 Keep up the good fight Ukrainian forces, kick the Orcs' asses. The United States supports you 100%. Very good footage. Am 47 years old and it’s my first time to watch, listen and understand why war happens. The Russian/Ukrainian war has been on our screens for 8 months and I must say . These territorial soldiers arevery professional and competent soldiers. The always have their guys at the ready. They put some of the younger soldiers to shame. In so many videos i have seen younger soldiers carrying their guys by the top of the barrel in one hand, while out on patrol.

Just found this channel. I really enjoy this type of journalism. Even if there isn't insane amounts of wartime action, the pure conversations with the Ukrainian military men fighting for their country is extremely interesting as well as important in terms of documenting history. - Keep up this amazing work that you all are doing. Especially with the captions that are presented on-screen. They are extremely easy to understand from an American's point-of-view.

I love and respect the people of Ukraine, it's unbelievable that we're home watching these men fighting on our sofa. I guess that's what make America, such a great place to live.

Its so crazy. I speak Polish, and I understand what he's saying although its kind of different. Its the same in Scandinavia. I speak Swedish, but I understand Danish, Norwegian. Ill never get use to this strange feeling.

I am Canadian, I am all for sending these men everything they need, if it costs us Billions than so be it, Glory to Ukraine. We have so many Ukrainian people here and they are good hard working people.

have sympathy for all who must suffer in war. if G-d was picking a side, youd know.

A good bunch of guys, very professional soldiers. I noticed that "Whitey", who was carrying a weapon that looked like a SAW (a squad automatic weapon), the gun with a bipod, was keeping a close watch on their 6 o'clock while they were moving on foot. The whole squad kept wide dispersion while moving so that a mortar round couldn't take out more than one guy. The most impressive was their leader, Sgt Baranov. He commanded with quiet authority, always knew exactly where his men were and has 8 yrs experience, since 2014. The Territorial Defense force is supposed to be analogous to the US National Guard, but they were every bit as professional as the regular army. As a gray-beard ex-Marine, I'd be very comfortable with these guys.

Many of the Ukrainian defense forces have been trained by National Guard units. That's why they are so well trained and tactically proficient.

That weapon is the "universal machine gun vz.59". Most likely donated by the Czech Republic since its a czech weapon. Iam actually suprised how many czech weapons you can find in these videos, glad they got to the places when they are needed..

This was wonderful-loved the subtitles. I couldn't help but notice the incongruousness of the lovely songs of the birds and tranquil look of the chickens doing their chicken thing the beauty of the forest with the utensils of war and destruction all around! War is Hell-Slava Ukraine!

you can notice how much experience and calm the veterans are, amazing content hope you can still highlight the situation with Ukraine, love how focus Max is, Viktor looks like an amazing human being, wise, focus but also with feelings

Outstanding group of gentlemen. Most of those guys had to have been at least 6'tall and in good shape. I feel Ukraine is not only going to survive this conflict, but win it. I've seen many of the brave soldiers who defended and defend Ukraine since the Feb 24th escalation of this long and brutal conflict and they only seem to be getting stronger with each passing day. Glory to our friends of Ukraine. Glory to their BRAVE and HEROIC SOLDIERS! from the UNITED STATES. Together we stand.... United we fall. Prevail we must.

Almost looks like a Kubrick film. I have no words to say my admiration for this men. My franco-polish family has helped thru charities, fund raising for UA Army. Stay strong guys, you know what you fight for. 🇺🇦🇪🇺💪

The guys fighting here are so charismatic it’s like we are watching a literal movie. “How are you so calm? I’m a medic”

I’ve already expressed how heroic these scouts are. But I also must compliment the excellent filming. No herky-jerky camera work. Thank you for accompanying these fabulous soldiers, even during a shelling. Very informative about this work, including their conversations. Emotional as well.. Slava Ukraini !

Fully agree! Simply let the scenes be watched, without any unnecessary comment. I was thunderstruck by this ubiquitous destruction - everywhere! What a terrible mess the Russians made of a once well organised country - not rich - but walking in the right direction. May those orcs go to hell!!
