Swedes. Kharkiv. Scouts from 130th Kyiv Territorial Defence Battalion. Episode 3.
Kampania na Charkowszczyźnie jest wielkim osiągnięciem Ukraińców. Ponad 30 procent ziem było pod okupacją Rosjan.
Kharkiv Oblast campaign is the Ukrainians’ big success. Over 30 per cent of it’s territory was occupied by the Russians.
Wyzwolono prawie 400 miejscowości, odzyskano każdy kawałek terytorium.
Szwedy mocno się tam napracowali. Chociaż Lock mówi o tym jak stoik: „Przyszliśmy. Zrobiliśmy swoją robotę. Wszystko. Zaraz pojedziemy dalej”.
Nearly 400 towns were freed and regained to the last patch of land.
The Swedes did a lot of work there. Although Lock says as a stoic: “We came, we did our job, that’s it. Now we’re going further".
Niestety stracili dowódcę swojej kompanii - Szermana. Kapitan Jarosław Szamanow, dowódca 3. kompanii strzelców zginął ratując rannych na polu bitwy. Szwedy byli tam z nim. Lock, Wiking i Zima pod ostrym ostrzałem wywozili rannych, Żuk sam został ranny i wywieziony przez Szermana, który wrócił po następnych i już tam pozostał. Pluton musiał się wycofać, ale powierzono mu misję odnalezienia ciała dowódcy.
Unfortunately they lost their company commander Sherman. Captain Jaroslav Shamanov, commander of the 3rd Rifle Company, died while saving wounded soldiers in battle. The Swedes were right behind him. Lock, Viking and Winter, evacuated the wounded under heavy fire. Bug was hurt himself and taken by Sherman who went back for the rest of them and was killed. The platoon had to withdraw, but they got a mission to find the commander’s body.
Zdjęcia do tego odcinka nakręcili sami Szwedy - Antonio, Biały, Lock i Kep. Dzięki temu jesteśmy z nimi w najgorętszych momentach. Na krawędzi życia. Dużo tu wrzących scen, ale też humorystycznych a niekiedy lirycznych. Jak scena, gdy Biały i Szwed, ścigani przez rosyjski dron, chowają się pod drzewami i nagle nad nimi, w koronie klonu pojawia się wiewiórka. „Cześć rudziutka. Zobacz, macha do nas ogonem”.
This episode was photographed by the Swedes themselves: Antonio, White, Lock and Cap, so we can be with them in the hottest moments. On the edge of life. Many scenes are intense but some are comic, and some lyrical. For example when White and Swede, Biały i Szwed, chased by a Russian drone, hide under trees and suddenly a squirrel appears above them, in the crown of a maple tree. “Hi, red. See? It’s wagging its tail”.

Its cool place to store potatos, other vegies (canned food too) during hot and cold time. It maintains +5c temperature around the yare. No need for big fridge.

Today I learned that I drive on dirt roads like a person carrying wounded soldiers in a war zone.
Excellent video. But also scary. To see and comprehend what these soldiers process and internalize as they come to grable with the reality of a rachid torn abusive environment called war zones is beyond my scope of comprehension. I do not know how they get through each day. How do they keep their sanity as they go through terrible hardships, facing the bloody scenes of friends and comrades being wounded and bombarded with such atrocities and outrageous war crimes conducted by the enemies. Please, God bless and protect the heroes defending Ukraine. Bring them home safely. Victory to Ukraine. Winning is definitely inevitable in the horizons.
He holds the narrow end of a cardboard megaphone to his ear and listens for the spinning propellers of enemy drones. The bigger the megaphone, the better the effect. Someone in the platoon will always be vigilant in the sky (sound of drones) with this. Victory and glory to Ukraine! !
