Sold loads when I was in the trade , especially the Lincoln premier gold in 20 bore. Don't ever remember many coming back for faults either. Really good shotguns.
I was told that Lincoln were made by F.A.I.R, standing for Fabbrica Armi Isidoro Rizzini, not Fias. I must admit the guns on F.A.I.R's website looks exactly the same. I have also seen Rotweil, BSA and a few others clearly made by the same manufacturer with a different name stamped on them.
My first gun was a Lincoln, got it off my uncle in the 2000s. He had it new from 1989 and now my girlfriend uses it till she gets her own gun.
Hello Dave, my father had a one which my brother now has it.
I thought Lincoln's were made by I Rizzini (FAIR). They were available in the states in the early 2000s under the Verona LX name. We're distributed by the big box stores: Dicks, Gander Mtn., Sportsman's Warehouse, etc. Varied from 700 to 900 USD depending which model.
some close ups of the guns stock and details would be superb 👌
Yes , they were great value for money, reliable guns , l hope they make a come back.
Lincoln Premier Gold was the gun that started it all for me… got it from yourself as well David
Hi David my very first shotgun was a Lincoln back in the early 80s excellent gun but I did have a problem with the bottom firing pin kept cracking but other than that was a good gun 👍
I’ve a multi choke number two as my main o/u, shot sporting clays for two years and everything else from pigeon to partridge.
I have one they a very good gun I have had it for at least seven years it has never let me down and shoots very well
Started my clay shooting life with a Lincoln in the early 1980’s, great gun for not a lot of money..
I have owned 2 Lincoln shotguns, a Number 2 20 gauge back in the early 90's , and 8 years back I purchased a vogue 12 gauge, both guns were built like brick s#*T houses, 100% reliable, a good cheaper end brand, that looked good and worked. If I was looking for a sub £1000 gun, ignoring a second hand Beretta or Miroku, I'd certainly buy again over say a Kofs or Yildiz.
I currently own a lincoln number 2 28inch sporter, my son has just finished refinishing the wood work and fitted a kickeeze butt pad good value for money in my opinion
David, you are a damned good shot with just about any gun, and this video I could see every target. well done
Have one straight as a stick so not for me but I keep since my son is left hand shooter and it works like charm for him!😉 Never had any problems with it but as you said it will kick, but for the money, I think I gave roughly 250 £ for it back in 2000.
My memory of Lincoln was dirt cheap “folding” guns. Not necessarily bad but unusual to the point of avoidance.
The way you shoot it, you should keep it.
