Maadeline oxygenated blood is usually brighter. I’m thinking maybe the vessels in the nose might have more deoxygenated blood? Not sure but just a possibility :)

Congratulations on finishing your comic! Those pigments look really cool but I can barely control regular watercolors so I'd be scared to have them in the same house with any painting work I cared about😆 I'm glad you're back; I really missed your videos.

I would suggest these colours more used as pretty effects for like how you used them in your painting with the girl- which is beautiful, btw. I get so very paranoid with my artwork- one small mistake really ruins m day so I can't imagine using something so.... HELLISH like these crystal paints, but on the same note, they do look very pretty when used correctly.

The crystals seem really good for abstract work, like you said! But I'm in total agreement that for detailed, focused work, these crystals would be a nightmare. Beautiful painting, by the way! ❤

The effects you can make with it is actually where I will die. I love this kind of stuff. It is not for nothing that I have way to mutch suppliers even stuff that isn’t for drawing what I use. (Card making suppliers just look in that direction and a world will open for effects.) I own as well this kind of powder but with matelics and it works the same way to mutch fun if you have no idea what to do so you just play with it and the best drawings will come out of it for me. But what you did in the drawing by the hair I will keep that in mind.(inspiration here we go.) ^^

Water brushes + pigment in water dissolved for consistent washes. Dissolved in Spitz bottles from the drugstore? Premixed, like watercolour misfit here on KZread does? Or to mix my own shades. And you can analyse the colours with white coffee filters and see the pigments.

I'm really late to this video. But you had me cracking up with the Gates of Hell demo. I've used these, too, and I'm on the fence with them, as well. They're great if you want to just play with pure randomness, but if you want specific control, you're best sticking with what you're comfortable with. I also find that these colors have a massive color shift from wet to dry, and they reactivate way too easily for my liking. Thanks for your review. Your final sketch was gorgeous, as always.

These pigments are used a lot in the card making community. They seem to like the unpredictable nature to create beautiful unreplicable backgrounds, that they then stamp on top of. I gave them a go recently and found them both fun and exasperating at the same time. Anyway, great video as always, and it's great to see you back 😊

Ahhh! So good to see you back! Those paints look interesting, but I'm clumsy enough they sound like a bad idea. Plus I mean half of them look the same??? Do they maybe look different if you dilute them more? I'm not sure if I was just seeing things or not, but did those green swatches dry with a slight yellow sheen on them?

Love your painting and I get why you are a bit scared. I have a similar product. I use the NUVO Shimmer Powders. They consist of different pigment colors that will only mix a little if you want to. As the name implies they shimmer. I use them for cardmaking. For backgrounds where I mount other elements on top or I use them with an heat embossed image so the colors stay inside the lines. (the NUVO powders have a fine tip opening and you have a bit more control over where the pignments go if you want to.)
