Anne Hathaway did such an incredible acting job! I've commented on several other KZread movies about how my late wife and I love actors who can make you forget the actor/actress and all you see is the person they portray, this makes the movie so much more enjoyable.

I was in the same restaurant in Brentwood, CA, that Julie Andrews visited, and I can attest the she is very tall. She came by with a large entourage and no small degree of fanfare. In real life, she is herself like a queen!

The title is incorrect and misleading. She was only crowned Queen of Genovia in the second movie (and never in the books). Here she was a crown princess, the granddaughter of Queen Clarisse, Queen Regent of Genovia.

This is the PRINCESS Diaries -- she wasn't Queen yet.

The this movie and its sequel were some of my favorite movies. Including Julie Andrews mattress surfing down a staircase in the second movie in the, I think the second movie. Hector Elizondo along with Julie Andrews are two of my favorite Hollywood stars. I love Palo’s character outside of him outing Mia.

I loved this story.

It’s funny to look back on this movie because we all love it so much. But to realize that her daddy was a deadbeat, prince and all. Straight deadbeat. OK fine you and your spouse get a divorce but because your life is so hectic, you volunteer to not bother your ex about your child at all. You have no relationship with your child at all. And then you die before you can tell her who you are, what you are and essentially what makes her, her. Then her grandmother wanna come along and pretty much persuade or bombard you with princess lessons, to become their princess because they’re lost without her. Say what??? I still love this movie though. 😂😂😂

No if u remember when her parents divorced her mother told her she hated the Royal life the mother is the one that got custody of her and cut them out of her life her mother was the one that cut the grand parents out of mia life and lied to her about that they were royalty until Mia was 18 but her father died suddenly so they told her sooner

Her father was not a deadbeat dad. He paid for mia's education. It was her mother's responsibility to have told mia the truth since she was born not to have hidden who her father was.

I was born 1955 and throughout my life, I was: well trained in ettiquettes; well trained with fashion; well trained im socializing, such as, with different cultures; trained as Planner and Hostess to so many gatherings. Plus so much more. I love this movie and I let my imagination run free while watching it. LOL. 🎉😊 Be Blessed, Safe and Healthy. ✝️ to 18 to 20 year old's now days as possible. I know, it would still have training involved, but not very much.

Obligatory plotline for this type of movie, girl with unkempt hair and glasses is completely overlooked, but on brushing hair and removing the glasses suddenly becomes the prettiest girl in the school.
