People aren't as smart as they think. Often they get stuck in rhythms especially later on when you're running on endurance and constant training. Realistically, learning someone's rythym is both the only way you'll hit a professional, and the best way to counter punch. It's also the best way to get punches in. Other fighters learn your rythym only for you to break it.

My dad put me in boxing as a kid I was angry I had a lot of aggression a part of me was like whatever Then the growing part of me was like I needed this To make me a better person I'm glad my dad did that when I was a kid Other wise I would have done it for the wrong reasons I had to get that guidance And boxing helped When I was a kid It's better to do this to train than to go in wanting to just leave the gym and go out and wanting to whoop ass That's a poor attitude Boxing helped

I worked with a chef that was a fat guy, his belly was most of his weight and it stuck out pretty far. One of his fight tactics was using a belly bump that kinda stuns you, and if there's a corner or wall your pinned, he was very fast with his hands. He could throw some punches for a big older man.

To my surprise he was very fast with his jabs and that belly bump completely caught me off guard, there's no defense against it, using only your body unless you have a larger belly 😂. But yes working in a kitchen there are plenty of verbal and physical fights. People will box and go right back to work.

Bullshit. You’ve clearly never been in a boxing ring nor trained in boxing. And taking a Tai-bo class doesn’t count. Muscle memory leads to quicker and better form. It doesn’t make the boxers in this video. I competed as an amateur boxer from the age of 7 until I was 20. I saw WELL over 100 people train in my gym. Of that 100+, I can count on one hand the number of boxers on this caliber. It’s more mental than anything. Given the sad state of humans the world over, it’s no surprise most will never be anywhere close to a real boxer.

I always have this feeling, I've already started training my boxing, but I keep getting this dream and goal of becoming a professional fighter or boxer, and it keeps crossing my mind, not matter what I try to get rid of it. I want to pursue the career, but I feel like it's stupid. What should I do?
