Disabling game bar or captures won't increase performance EDIT : Stop saying it does increase performance, it only disbles the shortcut EDIT 2 : You can't turn it off on Windows 11 and already it doesn't even use more than 0% in idle and 16mb of ram, those 16mb is not worth it EDIT 3 : Stop flooding my notifications

Gamebar was useful when I didn't have afterburner but the sound mixer is the most useful tging in it for me (I know there is the sound mixer in windows but the gamebar one is faster to open)

These settings dont do anything, except powerplan could work, but it depends on the plan itself. Same for game mode, thats just placebo lmao

If you really want the best performance you wanna go into the bios and change the ram profiles to the highest speed available. Then you wanna watch a video on optimization of your current hardware to get the best performance with over clocking and different setting etc. this video doesn’t really change much other than freeing up resources but if you have a pretty decent build these changes won’t produce any noticeable changes

Disabling capture and turning off game bar does nothing

High Power is best set for VR in NVIDIA Panel. Gamebar and Game Mode are not good for VR.

Is bitsum highest perfomance supposed to be ultimate perfomance and if it is then its not even worth turning on because what it does is that it makes your cpu work max at all times with has no effect while gaming since balanced mode does the exact same thing without burning the crap out of it. For the other 2 they do work and will give you fps boosts but you wont be able to record and open the gamebar which are both pretty useful.

High performance power plan does pretty much nothing. Your components are smart enough to do their own power management to maximize performance. Especially if you have a ryzen cpu, according to amd, stay on balanced.

All it ends up doing is draw more power and raise your electric bill while offering no measurable performance boost. On top of that it drains the hell out of your battery if you're using a laptop.
