Reed realized that being a vanguard wasn’t working & became a Caster but check marked the wrong box when she changed her class.

It's also worth noting that playing Chongyue for extended periods of time may result in temporary deafness, similar to Saga and Roberta. So you should obviously play them all in the same squad for maximum effect.

@@lawabidingcivs nah,everyone like saga, noir alter, kroos wont be fixed they fixed chongyue not because he is noisy but because his voiceline cut other his voiceline ( his line is long af) , but noir,saga and kross have a short voiceline,so they are fine

Reed alter is the type of person that would commit danger close at her allies

@@broadbandislife there is a reason why fighters got armies and fortresses as class features to keep up with the spellcasters back in the olden days.

Someone needs to tell Yii that this Lin is not drawn by Liduke like her NPC. Her playable version is drawn by the same artist as the core caster red cert op.

doesn't that still mean that Liduke designed her tho? I thought the artists for characters are also the designers (e.g. namie designing Babyglow) If that's the case, then Liduke is still Lin's artist in that sense

That would make him Lin's artist, as he created the design and the original art - just because someone else is also her artist now (drawing the sprites for her operator splash art) doesn't mean he's still not Lin's artist

@@theSato Those pieces of art are not the ones being shown in her op files so is not what's being credited. The credits are for the artwork, not the character. I assume the framework of that is done internally by HG anyway which they give to the artist. And it's like how Liskarm specifically has her R6S skin credits to Cenm0 cause that's who did the artwork, regardless of the design.

Fr the mod made her go from a pretty mid unit to absolutely crazy with insane tankiness

i feel like it would make more sense to compare Chongyue to Thorns rather than Mountain, since the former two are both semi-ranged-focused, need time and enemies to charge their skill, and aren't super tanky. Which is a lot more in common than Mountain whose main draw is his very high self-sustain and short setup time.

Still a bit off since thorns is always ranged, has two block, doesn't need to be meleeing to charge so can be used in safer locations, has a more generically useful expanded range, and self heals really quickly between waves so often gets away with no healing at all as well. What he really compared to imo is stuff like indra and Jackie. Where he is clearly an upgrade. Mountain breaks the mold to the point of almost being a different subclass

Might pull for Reed just to vary up IS medic vouchers.

I don't know why but Lin's chibi looks so cute, like she doesn't even look threatening she just looks adorable. Also I love your videos man

Liduke is not the artist for the new Lin and Ines art anymore. They're busy with Endfield I think. I was surprised because it looks the same.

The amount of times I've underestimated Chongyue is not that many but he sure showed me. That and my ears for a brief period of time.

ChongYue does like 2-3x more damage than Mountain, more range and can hold 3 lanes at once... and can hit behind him.. It's worth giving him a Skalter/medic, definitely s tier... But he dies fast alone, so Mountain wins that part that he was always the best in.

mountain also has the advantage of being good in a pinch while chong is useless if he doesn't set up first so it can make him hard to use if he dies at a bad time or needs to be constantly redeployed

well, I think most player always depend on lane holder and they don't always use healer operator like medic. that is why they don't like Chong Yue only because he cannot heal himself like Mountain... what I wanna say is if your operator almost dying just deploy medic to heal him. don't start complaining and comparing just because he can't solo all enemies while staying alive on stage.

DW Reed is quite powerful and can have one of the Highest HPS in the game, when her healing falls flat due to high res she is simply a buff army member for other arts dps that can deal with high res better (Surtr, Eyja, Goldenglow, Omertosa). Most of the time you don't need medics, so see Reed more as a dps + debuffer that can sometimes heal if you need it. You could consider her as a Gnosis that exchanged crowd control for heals.

I really like Lin as a phalanx. Even if her archetype makes her way less generic than someone like reed alter or ifrit, she definitely looks really good when conditions are right. Can't wait to go pull for her, skipping reed alter for lin. Praying to rng god go bless me with lin early so i can save for kirin yato 😭

hey look! 3 of my favorite archetypes in one video the things i use usually dont need a ton of healing or are supposed to be expendable (brawlers and dollkeepers), and my arts damage is usually pretty inconsistent (almost exclusively through dollkeepers and phalanx casters), so incantation medics are just perfect for what i need (also shoutouts to folinic)
