    I used to be a good sleeper but when my husband got sick I was up too late & then up early the next day. He passed away 2 years ago & I’m still struggling with my sleep. I’m working on getting to bed early, read my prayer book & turning out the light.

    I have ongoing sleep issues, too. I've found that listening to history podcasts on KZread really helps, especially if narrated by someone with a British accent. If insomnia strikes, I use a CBD tincture. It really helps me stay asleep. I've been using the tinctures from Kind Hemp Farms in Colorado for about 3 years.

    I love the daily gratitude routine. When I remember it does make a difference in my day. I also try to take an “it is what it is” attitude when things go sideways

    I always consider things that happen, good or bad, and particularly "bad" during a trip makes for good journal entries! 😀

    I pack a pad of small black post it notes and use them to cover the lights on a clock, microwave, etc in a hotel room. 😢

    I listen to sleep stories or sleep meditation/hypnosis videos on KZread. My current favs are Stephen Dalton, Michelle’s Sanctuary and Get Sleepy.

    I’ve found that having some liquid magnesium in my last cup of water with my evening meal has helped IMMENSELY with my ability to fall asleep and stay asleep!!! I use to have so much on my mind that it took me forever to fall asleep… or go back to sleep when awakened in the night. So, I’m planning on bringing a little vial with me on our trip to Europe this spring.

    That's a great tip! Which magnesium do you use? I've tried a few different ones, but nothing has really worked for me yet.

    @@GenxGypsy1968 I researched and read that the liquid is easier for our bodies to integrate, so have been using Starkey’s pro line ultra liquid magnesium. 7-10 drops per day to start.

    Thank you for thinking of us!! My daughter actually returned to Oregon in September, but she was living very near to where the earthquake was. Luckily all of her friends are safe and sound ❤️. One of her friends was skiing when the earthquake hit, which she said was really freaky!!
