The perfect 10th anniversary gift we needed

I remember discovering this show during the early years of my military career and it helped so much to de-stress during difficult times. I met one of my most cherished friends through the fandom. I made a series of humanized fan art that inspired many others to make fanfictions and even cosplay of. It is rather sad that later incarnations of the MLP franchise hasn't been able to or hasn't been trying to capture the same feeling as FiM. Regressing back into being silly cartoons ro sell toys.

I never would’ve thought that someone who love this show in the military, but I guess it does make sense, it is a pretty relaxing show and, while it is fun to poke at from time to time, it’s actually kind of enjoyable despite its incredibly silly premise.

i remember the good ol' days when we had actual quality content in the greatest MLP era ever. now, we're stuck with G5... a soulless, aimless piece-of-crap cash grab that not only doesn't know exactly what made G4 so great (or even what it wants to be), but also continuously sucks the life and soul out of what once was a great franchise... this video aged like fine wine, i can tell.

I really didn't expect this to be *this* good. Same thing as with the show close to a decade ago, I guess.

This show was apart of my childhood,so it means alot to me,i'm 14 now.But, some people ignore the intended audience ,would you like it if the unintended audience adumbrate ,the intended audience .I mean,i don't have anything against those people it just i noticed some episodes of the show were pushed to their favour.

it was an epic journey where a group of friends united by an unlikely twist of fate and a shared destiny answer the call of duty to defend their homeland from invaders who would destroy it, and along the way they change the world for the better using trust and respect. a truely unique show. it didn't pander, it didn't preach, it didn't berate or disrespect anyone. it just gave us a good story to enjoy and take lessons from.

i've grown out of My Little Pony a long time ago, but watching this honestly makes me feel glad i even was apart of the fanbase when i was younger 'cause of the memories i made there. thank you Lauren Faust

My Little Pony FIM is the first ever “Fandom” I got into. I’m extremely proud to be a Brony (or Pegasister if that’s more your thing) this made me tear up, can’t believe it’s been 10+ years. I used to get so frustrated when my sister wouldn’t watch the show with me. I love this so much from the bottom of my heart, and Mlp fim will always have a place in it.

this show was my whole teenage life and when it ended in 2019, it hurt unfathomably. ill always come back to it for nostalgia and good vibes.

It’s been almost 3 years since I left the my little pony fandom and I’m honestly pretty glad I didn’t stay for G5

I know I'm a bit late on commenting, but I first saw Friendship is Magic when one of my friends showed me (and a few others) A Canterlot Wedding because his kids were watching it and he decided it was actually pretty good... and that probably would have been it, except for a few nagging thoughts that I should watch it and then I found, completely by accident, Lullaby for a Princess... after listening to it several times I finally decided I needed to know the source material and I ended up watching the entire show (and I was slightly disappointed that Lullaby wasn't actually in the show, but then got even more impressed because the fans are that awesome). I basically got hooked on the show and found some amazing fanfics and more fan songs (it's probably not fair, considering it's a Symphonic Metal Opera that's just shy of 50 minutes, but I consider Fall of an Empire by L Train to be my favorite song right now). I really do want to go to a Brony convention or something someday, or maybe post one or more of my MLP fanfics (although I don't consider any ready yet), but MLP is pretty amazing.

MLP wasn't just part of a "Cartoon Renaissance" , it was one of the crown jewels of a Pop Culture Revolution of the early 2010's. The music hits of that era (the rise of Dubstep, Party Rock Anthem, Gangam Style, etc), the indie games (like Undertale, and FNAF), back when being a "hipster" wasn't as mocked as it is today, skinny jeans were a style, and the only toxicity you saw was on 4chan and even then wasn't as extreme or everywhere as it is today. The early 2010's was a magical time to be young in your mid to early 20's, I can tell you that much.

I remember we had a Brony club in highschool, and I was friends with the president. He convinced me to watch the first season, binged it on KZread, and I was pleasantly surprised. I never watched anything after it, but I changed my mind on the show and (most) of the fans. One quote that stuck with my from a guy getting interviewed about watching the show was "For twenty minutes a day I can forget about my worries and smile". Something along those lines. There's nothing wrong with that.

The show's indirect creation and embracing of its fandom has made FiM a favorite to me, even if I largely watched Seasons 3-6 (with some of the rest). As much hope as Gen 5 has, it cannot compare to the spontaneous culture FiM has- which may be the point. It's actually why I prefer seeing them as standalones. Brohoof, wonderful community.

Rewatching the show now as someone who is older then when I originally obsessed over it as a child, I’ve come to realize that MLP genuinely has amazing lessons and really taught me a lot as a kid. A lot of the stuff these brightly colored ponies learned I still use today, YEARS after the show ended. Not to mention, as the series became more seasoned, the plotlines, story lines, and worldbuilding got better and better. The music was wonderful, which definitely helped shape my love for music, and the characters genuinely learned and grew from their mistakes. Watching the series makes me feel like a 6-year-old again, and lately I’ve had the strange urge to break out my old collection of toys and play with them. I love MLP, and I always will. I’m glad that if there was any kids show I could grow up on, it was this one.

I love mlp when I was younger, but like most I strayed away after a while because I was 'too old' for it I came back about a month ago and just rewatched the first episode, and I'll be honest, I'd forgotten how amazing it is. Currently rewatching all the episodes This time round I don't think I'm leaving anytime soon, and I'm also going to try and actually interact with the fandom

tbh I often pretend that the final Episode never happened since personally it makes me sad thinking about it ending so I like to think that it never happened as if I'm in my own world, also who else remembers the drama about twilight getting wings

Me personally, what I do is picture my own reboot of the show showing the continouation of the story after it ended, and see how the characters progress in their current lives. (basically it takes place AFTER the event of The Ending Of The End) If my imagination of this was real, i hope it'd be as good as im making it out to be, but it also helps me forget that this show ever ended. And that theres still more of the story. I'll give u the name (My Little Pony: Rise Of Equestria) good title ik 😎

The fandom is hilarious at times As a female my little pony is the bomb heck I am as old as it is I am thankful for the fandom making it have more episodes so child me can watch it and be happy. I was on vacation when me and my sisters were watching the last of my little ponies, we were crying slightly and I was glad mom got onto it and let us watch the last ones since it’s not on Netflix. Even though I didn’t have social media at the time, I still was part of the fandom and I am thankful for it.

I am from Romania and I have watched this show when I was 5 years old on my TV on a Program called “MiniMax” and I really haven’t watched enough of it to like it but I want to say that I still love it no matter what and even Though it has been almost 4 years since it ended, I rediscovered it in November of 2021 and I gotta say it felt like it was 2010 again, I have met characters I didn’t even know where in the show like: Sunset Shimmer, Silverspoon, Diamond tiara, Snips, Snails, Cheese Sandwich, Princess Cadance, Shining Armour etc. I really wished I had met them before it ended😢

Before I was Brony I had very little Friends and The only Boy shows I watch was G.I. Joe Renegades and Transformers Prime but when those shows ended I had nothing to look forward to except Lego Ninjago,Marvel,Dc and Anime but when this show was on Netflix I didn't want to watch it but when I heard The First Equestria Girls Movie was coming out I had to watch The Show and ended up loving it and made me more Big Friends and liking Girly Stuff and I love being a Brony and I hope G5 will do good!

Gosh this made me cry. I hate so much that my parents didn't let me watch it when i was 10-15 because "it's for kids, you are not going to watch that." I became a brony on June 26th 2020, and it was the summer between my last year in primary school and my.first year in high-school; I honestly think that it was faith.

i searched up for shows similar to mlp, but the first search result that popped up was that there isn't one lol. btw, there's a new mlp show called "make your mark" and "tell your tales" seasons, it's gen 5 arc now tho. gen 4 was super cool too, loved it

you know, I'm 17, when the show aired I was the target audience, I was 3, and I watched it every single day before school. with time I just stopped watching it, around season 5, because reasons, I really don't know, I just overgrown it. I'm literally not joking, I think it's the most important series in all my life, and this video made me so nostalgic and emotional. the songs, the characters, they're all lovable and incredibly well written, made undoubtedly with love. I grew with the show, and I still can't believe it ended, how could I ever explain it to my younger self? even if I change, if my way of understanding this show changes, I don't think I'll ever not-like it, fr, it's just another level. I'll always be grateful for being able to live this wonderful experience.
