That’s a very valid point. If people want to open packs, they should consider ETBs when sets are soaring.

Once ES booster boxes hit $900-$1,000, prices are going to stall/plateau for a long time because a lot of people can't afford or aren't going to be willing to pay that much for a booster box. So therefore, the booster boxes from other SWSH sets (CR, LO, FS, ST, etc.) are more worth to invest in since their prices still have a lot of room to grow. Unless you don't have an ES booster box and really want one, I would at least just get one now because it's only going to get more expensive. I think Chilling Reign is underrated. Once people realize all the nice art cards it has, prices will skyrocket.

I used to be the worst at not keeping stuff sealed. Best advice is to stack a bunch of product in a short time and appreciate them like you would a painting or antique.

CR is $40 at Target. Up until yesterday, I had been ordering ES ETB for $70 from Walmart. Just checked today and it’s over $100. I think my wife is sick of seeing these boxes take up the closet space.

BTC still has some legs… but if you really wanna make some money, I’m thinking about creating a coin called Evolving skies. It’ll act like an ETF. You buy into it and get a cool Umbreon/Rayquaza hybrid NFT and I’ll buy all the product… was a joke as I started typing, now it sounds like a good idea. Lol

I love the way Evolving Skies Booster Boxes look. I have 7 of them. They are beautiful!

I live in the Netherlands. Its still low here. Its been around 360 to 430 euro's a whole year for a booster box. I allready owned. I bought 4 bb's more and 14 3 pack blisters.... I do not gave an etb.... Greetz from the Netherlands!!!

Evolving skies BB will be a $1,000 by June 1st if not sooner the fomo is real and is going to drive it up even more. If anyone thinks the price is going to go down they’re delusional. I definitely love your take on the ES etb grabbing as many as I can myself

Exactly this is what i been saying. I am taking advantage of the etbs right now in my local. So far i been buying them for $70-$85. Not bad at all. Im very surprised the priced hasn’t moved yet. Once all these etbs are gone, it will go up fast.

The reason that the evolving skies ETB are cheap right now is because they got stocked for a while in Pokémon center vending machines at 39.99. I personally picked up a bunch of them. Lots of people just turned and sold them. The espeon one was first (price has since recovered a bit) and the umbreon etb was during February. I think they’re done restocking both now though so I anticipate price will increase soon

I talked to the person that restocks them. They said the warehouse is empty. They buy them directly from Pokémon so unless Pokemon has a special supply they have been saving specifically to sell to the third party that restocks vending machines, they’re done.

@@dadcanibeagirl I also grabbed up about 20 from these machines. I talked to a restocker also and they said the same thing, that they had a supply of them in storage but no more now. I can confirm that the Espeon version was mid January (I missed out on this one) and the umbreon one just happened in Feb. Although they are not a 3rd party, these machines are managed directly through pokemon center international which handles all US pokemon merch directly, HQ in Bellevue International.

ES is never going down, and neither are the cards. The time to buy was 3 months ago. I remember seeing psa 10 Moonbreons around Christmas for 800 dollars. Good luck finding one near that price now and you probably wont see that ever again. If you didnt get one or the product the ship has sailed and you're now paying top dollar.

I've been buying them up as well. It's a good time to buy the alts. Makes no sense that I can get Dragonite for 90 bucks but a booster box is hitting close to 800 and the pull rates are so bad. You can scoop up a majority of the alts for the price of a box. Sit and hold and check the prices in a few years. The fact they haven't adjusted with the prices of the boxes is a steal right now.

Great video - there will have to be a shift from booster boxes to etbs before too long because of price. I was shocked too about how cheap some of them still are. I’ve been putting my money into LOR and reign boosters but reckon I will now grab a few etc bargains.

Its always nice when a booster box jumps in price the other items take time to catch up and that's when you buy. On Pokémon Center, the divergent powers tins are $24.99 and have 2 Evo Skies packs, 2 Astral and a brilliant stars pack. Definitely watching the price on these and might add a case to my sealed investment. When Team up jumped from $900 to $2000 I was still able to get the blister packs for $35, then $40, Then $45 and now they caught up and are $55. That lag is the best time to buy smaller products of sets taking off.

@@PokeBeardTCG so evolving skies jumped up but Japanese Eevee heroes is sitting at $400 a box. Maybe only a $50 increase. Really not the same movement and the moonbreon in that set is more $ then English. You think that is a good buy and will see similar jumps to EVO skies?

What are you shopping through? Risk of resealed boxes after someone weighed packs?

I mostly do eBay. I just always look at the sellers ratings, and if anything comes that's different than stated or pictured, you can always get a refund from eBay 100% of the time.

Wish I would of bought battle styles for $70 a box when it crashed.. Rudy said too

Evolving skies isn’t my thing, but will definitely look into silver tempest and fusion strike ETBs cheers mate

And these e Tb's are on sale on Amazon.

It is strange that ES ETB have not moved in price, only a matter of time. Great info and video!

I love booster bundles. They will sell 100 times faster than anything else down the road when everything gets expensive.

I’ve got the opportunity to grab. 1/2 booster box from the UK for under $300 but I’m a little unfamiliar with them and their resale value. Thoughts?

Why are booster boxes so much more than ETB’s ? Whats the pack ratio of a $700 Evolving Skies Booster Box to a $70-$90 dollar ETB?

You better recheck that because they sent out the 2 pack blister because they messed up. I dont think they had them up that long after the mistake.@@PokeBeardTCG
