Hello everyone, As the developer of Farm Keeper, I wanted to address some recent discussions that have arisen regarding the difficulty levels in the game. First and foremost, I apologize for any discomfort caused by the previous use of the term "Asian" for the hardest difficulty setting. It was never my intention to offend or marginalize anyone; rather, I used the word in reference to Steven He's content, which, as an Asian myself, I interpreted as a form of praise. However, I realize that my oversight in this matter inadvertently led to some people feeling uncomfortable, and for that, I am truly sorry. The ultimate goal of Farm Keeper has always been to create joy and happiness to players of all backgrounds. I deeply value the feedback and concerns raised by members of the community and want to assure you all that your voices are heard and respected. If any aspect of the game causes distress, it is my responsibility as the developer to address and rectify it. I also want to clarify that, in our conversation, Olexa had no intention of being judgmental at all. He was simply relaying the feedback he received from the community, which included valid concerns. It is my own decision to make necessary changes to ensure that Farm Keeper remains a positive and inclusive space for everyone. If you leave 1 fully grown pumpkin on the tiles above and below the house they will spread to empty tiles every day, so you don't need to keep planting and watering them

I think Asian Difficulty was supposed to be a reference to one of the most known Steven He videos where a game has Asian Difficulty that is incredibly difficult. Of course Steven is of asian descent and the whole video is a parody of chinese stereotypes. His whole channel is, in fact. Funny stuff.

for the boats it is better to have them in a checkerboard with wells because they need to be adjacent to land

you should make a diagonal line of mountains, a tractor, and a weather machine off the edge of your well circle (that has a pump in the center) to maximize the coastal surface available and also avoid all of that stuff getting in the way of expanding your other operations

the clover helps a TON with finding the golden egg. PLUS, the incubator is actually cracked now if you can get a good luck build going, as with like 40-60 clovers, you're almost guaranteed golden eggs. It's not great late game, but early and mid-game it's REEEALLY good. some of the best value-per-tile I've found aside from some other secret tiles, like hotels or horses

I loved this episode! It was basically the "Just one more achievement" run. Whenever it was about to end there was another achievement to get. Also this game is pretty fun to watch!

seeing how the pumpkin work, i think it is the best plant to surround windmill with, cuz essentially you can wind up to 16 pumpkin with a single windmill

No need for windmill, if you put 1 pumpkin in the center of a 3x3 area it will spread to all 8 surrounding tiles giving you 8 free pumpkins every day, can't go faster than 1 day so windmill is bad, but farm market is good for double money

Is the fruit tree worth it at all? considering it costs 1 stam to collect the fruit.... I'm sure just taking the wood and farming the tile with anything else is more worth. (that is, before cider, ofc.)

It's not, that's the main reason why he does it. Notice that he also ignored that this game treat adjacent as around and plant pumpkins everywhere. It's a globally bad move so he does it.

Pretty much. Fruit trees are fine once you unlock cider but they’re complete shit otherwise. This game is much more of a roguelike than people think, it’s about getting objectives and completing challenges, less about winning. The optimal strategy isn’t always the best way to play.

the fishing boats might work better if you let them go for a little while before harvesting. They catch one fish a day, but they might keep their fish from day to day, so the longer you wait, the more $$$ you'll get for the energy spent clicking on them... I don't own the game yet but i'll experiment with that when i do!

Step sequence > Goose on the water eats a carrot and makes an egg > incubator takes the egg and makes 7 more geese in the ranches > 7 new geese eat 7 carrots making 7 eggs> sell all 7 eggs + 7 geese. Good profit flow that can pump close to 200 a day just on that, from a single initial goose

You missed the joke about asian difficulty, it was probably a reference to steven he, and an actual occurance, asian people tend to have a higher iq, and because of that they find games EXTREMELY easy even if they are hard to the rest of the world, a lot of the time asian games will have 2 versions, one which remains in asia and the other that is made easier for america and other parts of the world, sometimes the difference is as drastic as enemies having half the health

I told the dev just as a heads up that it can come off racist as many people in my community brought it up to me while I was streaming it. I didn’t tell the dev they can’t do it or anything like that, just informing how it looks from an outsider’s perspective looking in.
