If you ask people today from the east they'll say Levan. Devon or Michael from the west. But if you ask anybody who really loves arm wrestling, theres only one GOAT. John Brzenk.

John was the reason why I got into arm wrestling, Denis and Devon were the reason I am still into arm wrestling. IMO, John is arm wrestling.

I found arm wrestling through Devon, then i saw pulling John so i got educated.

John is definitely the Greatest Armwrestler of all time. He would hook world class hookers even though he could toproll them. He could pull anywhere on the table. I really believe that if John had not injured his shoulder he would still be pulling with the Levans and the Dave chaffees of the sport right now.

I may be wrong, but I don't think John cares very much about social media. He is notably very absent from all of this. What you say is true of course, in that he deserves to be known and be respected as the GOAT by everybody. But social media isn't his thing. That said, him collaborating with Larry for example would be great for people to learn who he is and appreciate what he has done in this sport.

Coach Ray, your feedback in this video is quintessentially factual. You touched on so many points that are not only relevant to the sport of arm wrestling, but also applicable across the spectrum of other sports. You also smartly pre-butted the arguments someone could try to make and asked for supporting evidence. I agree a person should perform their research and be a student of their profession. Knowing the feats and accomplishments of the ones that blazed the trail in ways that stand up to the test of time, in which others have not been able to match deserves recognition. The age of instant gratification is not a replacement for a tenure body of work, with accolades that speak for themselves.

Many Many titles to back it up on both left and right and is the current Hammer holder and has held it twice on both left and right at the same time which knowone has ever accomplished. Launching Armbet which is a big game changer for the sport and his huge following which is introducing many newbys to this sport. Johns the goat but Devons a legend and if it wasn't for Devon you wouldn't even know who most of these elites are if it wasn't for him. He is the top ambassador for the sport. Definitely not overrated at all. Devon when in peak form there's not many who can defeat him, he's even beat the goat for example, multiple armwars champion. I could keep going all day about Devons stats and his ability to be the best promoter of this sport which gets everyone recognized, that's a true sportsman and like I said that's Legendary status. Can't disrespect those accomplishments, he earned the right to be who he is and the passion he has for the sport and the fact he's trying to get more people involved and recognized at the same time is special! Devons a good solid good guy!

john without question... Devon is an interesting convo... devon has almost given his legs to promoting the sport... and when he dominated, he was uncontested... john was luckily resilient wrt injuries... others were more affected... john is beyond special

Ray, imagine if John took training in the gym seriously with all the awesome exercises with handles and stuff, took massive amounts of steroids (Test, Tren, HGH that sort of stuff), he would even be way better then he already was and that is so amazing it would be hard to imagine.

If I remember correctly, John was undefeated for 25 years straight. And even when he finally lost, it was on super heavy weight class, so above his own weight class. Undefeated, fucking 25 years.

Getting to go to John’s house must have been nuts. It would have been crazy for me and I’m not even an armwrestler. It’s bigger than going to Micheal Jordan’s house for a barbecue and him playing one on one with everyone there over and over for fun. How did you get that invite or how were you, janis and vlad all able to go?

Coach I am new to arm wrestling been training strong man in the 200 pound class for years but I am a very quick study of history .Your assessment is 💯 accurate even right now John at 90 kg could smack 90 percent of people in the world. But there are arguments that are worth considering there are 2 arms in the sport ! And there is a very limited# of people who can claim #1 with both arms especially at the same time 1 cleave dean # 2 Devon I may be mistaken please forgive my ignorance if so. Also from my opinion you are the best current armwrestling coach out there especially for new customers!

More people than ever are defending the king's move and now this?! What has the world come to🤦‍♂️

I've always been saying this in comments on Devon or Michael Todd's page, and for the most part, people agree. It's going to be very difficult for anyone person today to be recognized as greater than John unless they've been undefeated in Supermatches for at least 10 years straight. I'm giving today's athletes 10 years instead of the 20 years that John ruled the sport only because the level of competition and strength has changed over the decades and it can be argued that the top guys today are, in general, a lot stronger than they were 20 years ago but this is debatable. No one, and I mean no one, in the sport today is anywhere near the level of success that John achieved over 30 years. John was still beating top guys well into this 50s! He started in his early 20s! Devon and Levan have a long way to go to prove they can last this long in the sport at the very very top. Denis could have been that guy, but health issues took him out, unfortunately.
