Jesus said that he would divide people and families. Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth.divide families I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn ‘a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law - a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’ (Mat 10:34-36) The God of truth (Isa. 65:16) is the God of the Bible. Since truth divides, then Jesus would naturally divide his followers away from those who reject and hate God’s truth, even one’s natural family members. Remember, Jesus divides families: Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division. From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.” (Luke 12:51-53) Jesus Came To Divide - NOT Bring Peace On Earth To be worthy of Jesus and eternal life, one must side with God’s truth even though it divides his own family.

Angels do not procreate. No atonement was provided for angels. Matthew 22:30 30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. Mark 12:25 25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven. **** Revelation 21 and 22 tell us what heaven will be like. Believers will be all together on the new earth and the new heaven serving God and Christ. Believers will be married to Jesus Christ. Revelation 19:6-9 No one will be separated on different 'levels' or planets. Women will not be sharing their husbands with other women. The 'other women' will not be separated from their families so they can serve as part of some LDS man's harem of women should he get to the 'top level' of heaven. The true and living God would never damn anyone for denying the 'eternal principle of polygamy.' (D&C 132) Heaven is a world of love. ❤

I recently witnessed young men and women who were there at a temple baptism I was attending. They came by themselves and were able to help me with my work!

I had just turned 12 when this talk was given... my first General Priesthood Session (I miss those). I'm incredibly grateful that the Lord has restored His church and that we are blessed again with Prophets and Apostles to instruct and inspire us to be better followers of Jesus Christ. Especially in today's world.

After I found Christ, things have become difficult and emotional for me, especially when I had more than 1 friend who didnt apply by the same standards as me. I made more than 1 mistake whenever I was with them. But regardless of the many mental challenges concerning my past, it still doesn't change the fact that he was the only person who made me happy, like no other. Present time - I still choose to follow Christ, and sadly turn my college friends away because of how uncomfortable the moments were, whenever they were talking immorally.

Fast and pray. Fasting can break any bonds of the adversary.

As time passes there are definitely no gray areas. We are either on God's side or on Satan's side....No middle road.

The part of this will only get worse. Was such a warning for today. With online games, social media, and access to porn it's overwhelming for everyone! I know he was focusing on the young men, but this has torn everyone apart.

The latest fashion, or what is the humorous, though grievous to the spirit. The Savior knows you perfectly, don't cheat yourself by not coming to Him through that perfect opportunity of true repentance. Those who know that gift only want that beautiful opportunity for others who have gotten off the path, or stepped away.

He is true when he says the minds are being clammed by the “devil “....by choice. We choose to give “our” power to the “devil”. The “devil” is in OUR minds. “Renew you mind” and the “devil” will not be in ...your mind. Have the mind of Christ and there will be no room for the “devil”.

That’s funny, Lot offering his daughter to keep men from doing the mongo with two angels seems a far cry worse than I’ve seen today. And it proves it’s nothing new!

If god is all-powerful, which the scriptures proclaim, then the supposed “war for every square inch between god and Satan” is nothing but amusement to god. An omnipotent entity could squash satan at any moment, with just a thought.

You pose the age old question. If God loves us why does he allow suffering to happen to good people? I cannot answer this question in a single sentence. It takes much study to understand why freedom to choose is more valuable then God stepping in every time there is a problem. A part of the answer is we come to earth to grow, prepare for judgement day. Please consider talking to the missionaries about your concerns and let me know if I can help.

@@candyxoxo19 In law, if you are a head of an organization and you knowingly let loose a malevolent agent that does things that you know are against the law, you are culpable for his crimes. So god, for his ‘purposes’, continues to let satan run amok and destroy lives. That makes god equally evil to satan. My real concern is not with the explanations of the missionaries. My real concern is not even with the people who truly believe in the explanations posited by those missionaries. My REAL concern is that folks who believe that stuff try to foist demands of fealty to your god upon others via law. But going back to my original statement: if god allows satan his free reign to wreak havoc upon humanity, and omnipotent god can vanquish satan with a mere thought, then how is there a “war for every square inch” between them? And how/why is mere mortal man, flawed as he was created, supposed to wage that battle against satan on behalf of a god who clearly does not intervene on behalf of man? Watching “the missionaries” try to conjure up replies to these things is like looking at the pre-copernican models of the universe.

What cult has over 17 million members? What cult makes videos and puts them out publicly? This claim of cult has no ground to stand on. You gave no evidence. Here is the definition of cult, "A system of religious veneration and devotion directed toward a particular figure or object." You see here every church and every religion is a cult. The word cult is useless. To call one church a cult is to call every church a cult. Are going to run from your group or church because it's a cult and you can't join another because it's a cult.
