Holland is one of my favorite speakers. His voice calms me, motivates me, makes me realize I'm not perfect and that's ok. Turn to the Lord and don't give up. He won't give up on you.

I love Elder Hollands talks. I feel the spirit everytime. He speaks of relevant instances in my life. I had a hard life too. I have seen the lowest of lows and I remember when I was converted. I remember the feeling. And the rest is history

Feelings can easily deceive us.

I turned my back on the church over 2 years ago and went back to my old destructive ways of alcohol and pleasure seeking. I havent been in good spirits of late been in dark places I went into a drunken rage the other night and smashed the window cupboard door. Long story short I have my late grandmas Jesus on a cross on my wall near my door to my amazement the day or two next the Cross of Jesus Christ was turned over with Jesus back facing me. There was no way it could have turned over by itself in that moment I thought it was a sign saying I've had my back to Jesus and not following the correct but but the destructive Satan's path. It's a sign for me to go back to church whilst I attended the church of latter day saints I was happy and sober but soon I turned my back on the church Satan came in full force making me miserable with my damaging decisions. Something made me search turning my back on Jesus and I was brought here, that's no coincidence I think not. There is light and I've had enough of the dark. Only light and positive thoughts 🙏

Thank you for sharing. I was reading in the Book of Mormon this morning and I read these verses: 13 will ye not now return unto me, and repent of your sins, and be converted, that I may heal you? 14 Yea, verily I say unto you, if ye will come unto me ye shall have eternal life. Behold, mine arm of mercy is extended towards you, and whosoever will come, him will I receive; and blessed are those who come unto me. 15 Behold, I am Jesus Christ the Son of God. God is good. Turn unto him and blessing will come. God can make us so much greater then we are on our own.

If you're a child of His you can't turn away from Him for long. And if you did get upset at Him at some point in your walk, it's normal! You can tell Him to leave you alone, He will be quite but He will never leave you. He understands our lives!

Happy Birthday indeed!

During my life time, I have waded through those dark times. Many because of my own bad choices. Yet the Lord always was there, even when I saw the very depths of hell! The Lord brought my back to my body, when I informed him that yes, I knew I deserved to be there, but never at anytime that I have ever denied that testimony. I pleaded, Please Father, in the name of thy Son Jesus Christ, please, don't leave me here. I woke up in a ICU unit in terrible pain. My mother's face inches from my own. I had an oxygen mask covering my mouth, when she told me, "I love you!" I passed out from the pain I was going through. Has my life been better because of this experience? I went through many trials and tribulations. Life, like Elder Ballard said, isn't to swift nor the strong. But to each of us that will strive forward each day, to do the best we can. So many blessings have come since that day. But those trials and tribulations came too! Keep the faith and soldier on! Don't look back! Stay steady ok n the course. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen

Smith was a great story teller to deceive. If you have Smith's Jesus that Smith created then you will end up in torment that makes your story here like the pain a tick bite compared to hell. What you went through is a warning to turn to the true Jesus away from Smith's decoy Jesus that you not be fried.

Jesus lied about The Second Coming ! ( Mark 9:1 ), ( Luke 9:27 ) . He said the End Times will come before some of these people will die ! It didn’t happen !

Not turning my back on god. Turning my back on the nonsense these religions proclaim.

I seriously doubt this would actually address someone seriously questioning their beliefs of God. This is basically just 11 minutes of repeatedly saying, "don't do it cause God good and leaving bad, remember the bible". This is just preaching to the choir, pun intended
