    Makes us Marths pick between losing a stock or landing on stage and getting wrecked from another follow up 😖

    Looks super cool, what exactly is this meant to cover that isn't also covered by normal marth killer?

    While this video by itself doesn’t showcase exactly why very well, it’s not hard to imagine that being able to go from ledge immediately into marth killer setup is very useful in maaany cases when edgeguarding marth

    I'm not good yet so take this with a grain of salt, but the Marth killer is very telegraphed so good Marth players can play around it. This is like a surprise Marth killer I think so that really adds to the mind games

    I think you can look it up by searching for Marth killer 2.0 on KZread. Kjh has a video on it

    When you're holding onto ledge you threaten drift out bair, raising bair, drop shine bair as well as making him recover differently. It's correct that these situations don't show case it super well. Basically any time youd refresh do this instead. Don't have to risk getting clipped and die this way. And id actually say the last clip is a good example.

    Don't think of it as a ledge dash, it's slower. Just move slightly forward by going into the SD notch and Waveland straight down

    in any of these clips could he have held on to his jump to stall below ledge? or was he too far out and forced to use his jump there

    @@jiraiya2000 no yeah im just wondering whether you can use this when the marth is holding onto their jump during recovery like Zain likes to do. im assuming if you do then you have to like ledgedash on stage or something

  • @AlphaChopstick

    @AlphaChopstick

    @@Aefax the main thing to focus on is the fact that he's going from the ledge quickly into Marth killer, hanging from the ledge covers most recovery options since if you hold your jump and they drop down Bair you just die as Marth lol

    How consistently do you get this? Like what % of the time do you space it incorrectly?

  • @LogosLFTG

    @LogosLFTG

    Жыл бұрын

    I'd say overall I'm at a 60% success rate with getting the spacing you need to slide off. 30% on stage but not far back enough, and 10% sd. I've only been practicing this for 4 days again. Doing it daily now
