That's what I read on one of the credible Telegram channels (I think it was Military Summary) but I haven't seen the video. It is probably true, as it was always only a matter of time until Russia closed up that salient east of the canal.

And 2024 they're paying for the SMO with nothing but the INCREASED PROFITS from oil sales. USA is the nation going another trillion in debt every 3 months. And spending more than TWICE its income for the first time EVER. Germany has lost about 40% of its industry since start of 2022. Sounds like a really healthy economy right? Russia is being fiscally proactive and conservative. They're literally making sure that they can keep going as they are, INDEFINITELY. While the west is one small step from an economic and finance crash that will make 2008 look like a minor correction. And maybe you should think about how the world bank retroactively stated that Russia became the 4th largest economy in the world in 2021. And that's them trying to stick to their propaganda orders, downplaying anything good for Russia.

I’m just curious when you say ‘invalidating Russian claims’ is that claims of the MOD or of the internet? I’m just wondering if the MOD is putting out false territorial claims. This is an extremely costly method of taking objects or areas. To take 2 to 3 km² a day is far from a good result of losing approximately 1000 soldiers a day. The fact that Ukraine is 450 000 km² makes the taking of Ukraine a 410 year project.
