Got to remember that most of Europe's issues are of their own doing back to the Colonial era. England, Belgium, France, Holland, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and Spain. They all asset stripped their colonies when they were the masters... and now, those impoverished nations have come back to bite them. Australia should never have strayed too far from the white Australia policy..we made a mistake with letting in all the sh*t from mainland Europe, India, the Middle East, and Persia. Then we doubled down and let in all the child soldiers and trouble from Africa. Now, we are starting to take all the dregs from Central and Southern America. This cosmopolitan nonsense is a failed experiment just about everywhere one looks.. It doesn't work in the USA... It does not work in Europe.

Decent Europeans need to acknowledge they colonised and impoverished many of the countries where these refugees are from. Australians were given a chance to vote on Mass Immigration at every federal election. It sounds like you think you have the right to be consulted every time the government makes a decision. When you turned up to vote at the last election, what you did was agree to abide by the electoral process and accept the result. You selected a candidate to represent you and gave them your proxy on the understanding if that candidate was not elected, they would pass on your proxy to a candidate of their choice. You also agreed to let the popularly elected government make decisions on your behalf without any further consultation until the next Federal Election. Yes, that is exactly what you did every time you voted.

We aren't responsible for every single person who decides they have the right to arrive here expecting to be handed a new life at our expense. Its unsustainable and unacceptable. Not all are fleeing conflict, many pass through safe nations yet have no passports upon arrival on our shores. Take care of our vulnerable, our sick/disabled, pensioners, domestic abuse victims, homeless, replace over crowded and properties unfit for human inhabitation. Our people deserve priority.

Albanese allowed 500k immigrants into Aust last year. If you need one house for every 3 people, then you will need 166k houses per year to accomodate the newbies. With 365 days in a year, then new house requirements are 455 houses per day just to keep up. 455 houses per day !!!! The government should have anticpated this ....surely. Nah.....

Here in NZ we have so many poor people who have no where to live the houses that some live in are terrible . The hospital system is terrible and so are the Roads. That should come first before immigrants coming in and our money going out to help others. Let's get our countries sorted. From Europe: There is NO huge revolt here in Europe. Just slow developments with time. Never heard of Esther Krakue.

Jordan Bardella has great ideas.

It's plain to me that multi-culturalism can be problematic in these countries where heavy immigration, legal or otherwise, combines cultures which do NOT share fairly similar values. Sweden appears to be a mess as is Germany and France.

and with all these far right governments being installed and perhaps with good reason, it still 'seems' to me that there are definite shades of hate going on and such for the immigrants as well...way beyond the simple fact that elements of these immigrants are changing the existing culture. In America we kinda got used to it, but the plain fact is that the unifying cultural element of the States is making money and freedom--Christians and Muslims etc can all just get along fine otherwise...'separate' but equal.

But Canada is 1 tenth the U.S. population so it's much more drastic for us. It's a much bigger economic burden and has also had a noticeable social impact with anti-semitism and anti-Christian sentiments on the rise.
