There are No Photos in This Vlog
There are times that even as a professional travel photographer, you just don't take any photos. That's life. Acting like it's otherwise is a stressful lie.

On today's vlog, I take you away from my photography business and into my coffee business.
I'm heading to Madeira to take care of trying to open a new shop. I'm also talking about the stresses of managing life as a professional travel photographer when you also have another business on the side. It's definitely a balancing act.

Brendan.Brendan.Brandan. Your followers watch you because you are funny, creative and real (and you are a great photographer). Please stop putting pressure on yourself. I for one find it very interesting to watch you pursue two very different paths- at the same time. And I think you will be successful at both (if you don't make yourself sick). Stop and smell the roses each day (or the coffee). Peace!!

Making a living is tough and takes a lot of hard work. Everybody needs the time to balance and refocus. Glad that you can recognize when it’s time to relieve the pressure on yourself. It will make the photos that you do take even better! Best of luck with all three shops!

I appreciate the videos and look forward to them. HOWEVER... I would sooner you keep your health (mental and otherwise) and if that means a few more videos with no pictures, then so be it..... Stay safe.

No worries on not having a photo in this vlog! I'm always excited to get any kind of update no matter what! Your happiness is more important than any photo! I'm glad to see that everything came together with the new coffee shop in Madeira even with running into some minor delays!
Stress to produce... reminds me of what people who have jobs feel like. Photography for you is a job, or was, until your coffee empire came about!!
Confucius says "It does not matter how slow you go, as long as you do not stop" and as long as your making videos, we will keep watching, photos or not. Your videos still show us some beautiful places 👍. Of course we don't mind photos once in a while 🤣🤣🤣

Haha, I do need to do some street photography in Portugal, and some photos of the cobbles, they are incredible, you're right.

Your original concept of the "the Studio" coffee shop seemed simple and would be a nice sideline when you weren't traveling the world chasing sunrises and sunsets. Now it seems you're wanting to be the Tim Horton of Portugal. What's up with that? The one store didn't have enough wall space for all your photos? Maybe Easyjet would sponsor you, so you can save on airfare, eh? Don't burn out. Carry on. 😴🛌
Wonder if you got searched. I had coffee in my core unit and I ended up getting searched by TSA. I had a small scale, grinder and aeropress with me though lol
Do you or have you ever thought to offer cold brew coffee? Like not iced coffee, actual 24 hour cold brew coffee? I can never find true cold brew coffee at coffee shops.

Yup, we do a true cold brew. We do single origin cold brews, usually a 16 hour extraction. :D
No more coffee please...
