I also would love to point out the women featured in the song (Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer, Tiera Kennedy, and Reyna Roberts) are all black women in the country world. It means a lot that Beyonce, who was shunned and ridiculed at the CMAs, brought these women together on a track that means so much to black women.

After the tracklist came out and before I heard the album, I thought "There's no way that's the Beatles song Blackbird, no way no way, I won't emotionally recover from that." Then I listened to the album and had THE EXACT same reaction as you from the very first few notes of the song. Like "No no no no no no no!!!!!!!" Instant tears.

I love that in the midst of so many HUGE songs on CC there is this gem, Beyoncé’s small voice is so pretty and this shows it off so exquisitely, it’s almost a lullaby and the other women on the song are just incredible, such an important song in the mix of this album ❤ I love Lennon and McCartney for writing this song , they are really so special , but , that goes without saying.
