That's the West Tek symbol. It's on several in-game meshes and textures, it was never intended to be there.

You absolutely can move and exit power armor on standby power.

They may have planned to but of course they didn't. If they had Janie wouldn't have been at a party visiting with her dad, but safe with her mum.

Of course not. If you've seen the opening, coop was very suprised and didn't believe it when the bombs did drop.. if you paid attention that wouldn't make sense with the latter episodes revelations.

The show takes place in 2297 The only thing that is broken in Canon is how the companion (Coop the Ghoul) was waterboarding Lucy How Lucy was taking the painfully pacifistic approach And how the Brotherhood of Steel was being too zionistic

Vault-Tec didn't drop the bombs. Not that they couldn't, but the fact that multiple vaults were unfinished show they were ready to end it all for profit. That said, yes Vault-Tec are major antagonists in Fallout

Vault-Tec is controlled by the Enclave in the game lore. In the show Vault-Tec is acting evil independently, which invalidates so much of the previous events in the lore it's bot even funny

I despised the lore change. It eliminates the critique of war hawkishness and the desire to destroy your enemy at any cost with “errrrr, evil corporation bad.” Fallout has a ton of great criticisms of abusive companies, no need to introduce this completely illogical nonsense.

I personally never did believe that china dropped the bombs, I’ve always figured that vault tech was somehow responsible

They did break canon in the show. Ghouls, power armor, the BOS, NCR… it’s still a fun show, just have to turn your brain off, which is unfortunate.

Lore... Lore always changes. But no, they didnt break canon. If anything, they confirmed it.

@@KiloFeenix nitpicking. Lol. Honestly the movement makes less sense that way in the games. Entering and exiting is a little weird tho. But hey some stuff makes sense in a videogame world rather than a live action world with much more practicality.

@@Jaysin412 it makes perfect sense in games, why wouldn't they have a backup power source for basic movements, like walking and opening up the armor. A lot of devices shut down before the battery dies, just so it has enough power to tell you to charge it. This little hiccup in lore now means that everyone with power armor needs someone else to reload their power cores and Max would have been stranded if he ran out of juice in the middle of battle.

You have always been able to exit Power Armor freely. From the very first Fallout game thru Fo76. So this is a retcon
