I have to say, I'm a little disappointed with this particular review Addy. You give many reasons why Thelma the Unicorn is bad but, you don't give any examples. "The character motivations are insane and inscrutable. Ok but, how? In what way? "This film doesn't understand anything about music, business, people, identity, or story telling." Again, how? Please explain what the film gets wrong with these things. I know you work hard and put in a lot of time and effort to makes these kinds of videos, and I appreciate your dedication but, in this particular case, you've made me more curious to watch Thelma the Unicorn to see _how_ it messes everything up. I love you Addy and I love your honesty and passion, and your willingness to stand up for what you believe in, but I _need_ you to do a little better next time.

Soooo, a movie that is MADE FOR KIDS does not understand music and business among other things. That is very interesting cause I believe the target audience (10 year olds) also have that problem ^_^

This is a poor criticism - children watching Bluey and Steven Universe wouldn't understand the nature of trauma or the stages of childhood development, but the shows go out of their way to explain them so that they can learn about that aspect of life. Similarly an episode of All Grown Up teaches children how to look out for con-artists in the episode where Suzie loses a bunch of money to a person promising her a music career.

This movie was pretty racist and offensive to unicorns!
