Cleaning up? I hate chores. Don't need those simulated. Also we are heroes of Azeroth. Why do we have to do peasant jobs? I also don't like theater. The theater event in Kara was ok since you killed the actors.

I actually like these weekly events and appreciate it’s not all just slaughtering and that there’s some lore shown through it. Looks like a step up from time rifts.

This event makes my inner theater nerd happy. Excited to see all the shows for myself.

Why do we not have a prepatch confirmation? I feel like it should have been announced by now.

Its mostly announced a week bevore. So people expect Prepatch at 23. we should get a confirmation next week.

I really love time rift and this looks amazing. I like it alot. Running around doing tasks is fun and get tewards. I hope they add mounts pets and tmogs like in time rifts

This looks fun enough. Is the gear from the chest Warbound? Once I get into Mythics it will be nice to blast through this and toss the reward into my bank for alts of the same armor type once I don't need that level gear on my main.

This quest rewards a Jewelcrafting recipe.

Do you know if there is a way to phase the WQ out so the stage can be used for RP purposes or is it too early to tell?

Ugh. I REALLY wish these were instanced and balanced around fewer participants, like a Scenario. I hate the map clutter and it’s especially annoying when World Events overlap one another - looking at you, Dreamsurge/Fyraak Assault/Grand Hunts…

@@Seerias well yeah, nothing really overlapped at the start of DF, either (except Grand Hunts and the Aylaag Escort - which STILL conflict with each other even today…) We’ll have to see after a few patches how many world events overlap and bug each other out…

@degiguess those are holidays scheduled year round how in the heck does that even compare? We invaded new lands in BC-Shadow and we're basically invited in Dragon. However the sheer fact thr war machine is what gets us to lay anchor 90% of the time makes such groups odd as our usual travel companions like Hemet armed armed to the teeth in the new dangerous lands. But no need for guns in the War within as we are on a right vacation we can see the sights and take in a play from this troupe while we hang our axes and drink fancy underground beverages with our pinkies up. Why should anything fun or exciting happen it's the first expansion in a three expansion saga and they have to save the action for the third act who knows we could get a splinter or food poisoning by then.

They are not mandating that you have no choice but to play the game and recently have been going out of their way to make side content like time rifts or digs not be mandatory for end game progression. Are you really complaining rn that the game has too much content?

@@degiguess it’s one thing to try and always provide the player with something to do, but I think they’ve gone too far. Back when I first started playing it was easy to keep up with current daily/weekly content and still have plenty of time to go pug past content or hang out with friends. I don’t really like to pvp and yet I was still doing RBGs and even tried Arena just because it was something to do with my friends. Now, I’ve literally had world events screaming over one another for my attention. “Rare” mobs are always spawning. World events constantly cycle within an hour and overlap and bug each other out. My map looks like someone spilled a bag of icons on it, I can barely see the actual map anymore. Wow today is an ADHD fever dream.

If you haven't played TWW beta yet, it is DF 2.0. Literally the exact same with a few new things added. Female npc's with voices deeper than the males, virtue signaling and blatant delivery of "the message" in quest after quest.

@@maxpowers4436 I picked apples 20 years ago (In fact I started killing striders since I was a Tauren). I have killed many bosses, saved the world many times over. The NPCs gave me titles and I'm addressed as hero all the time and I talk and work with leaders of all factions. Now it's back to chores? The games started with us being just a random adventurer and turned us into heroes.

It has always been the case that your character status is reset between most expansions, with a few exceptions. You are not remembered now as the slayer of the Lich King even by NPCs that were there. Canonically, you begin (almost) every expansion as an adventurer, and the mark of an adventurer is that they take initiative to fix problems big and small wherever they see them, going all the way back to D&D. Sometimes there's treasure under that pile of trash. It makes sense to do things this way. If they didn't, by now after 20 years of story, every NPC would have so much baggage with your character who has averted 20 distinct apocalypses. This is especially true for new zones and new NPCs in unexplored parts of the map. They don't know who you are, what you've done, and so you make your mark first by going on little adventures and solving little problems. As a player you also aren't required to do any of this. If you only ever want to be the hero, you can skip open world quests and leveling campaigns, run dungeons to max level, go straight into raids, and never touch the open world content. They no longer tie any form of player power to open world content, or keep it on a separate track a notch lower than even normal raids.

Nobody is forced. It's optional open-world content that provides environmental and character lore through a more complex mechanism than quest text. It has no relationship to player power other than for players that exclusively do world content, just like the rest of world content in the last expansion.

nobody is forcing you to do this event and I guarantee far more than 3% of the player base likes the direction wow is going. Dragonflight was one of the most well received expansions in years for a reason and I promise you it wasn't the raids

Sounds weak

A good example as to how far WoW has fallen. We've gone from a bloody, violent story such as Arthas building a bridge out of corpses on his way to wipe out the elves to... being in a Glee Club. Wow. What a story.

Wow use to be rated PG-13 now it's rated G. Unfortunately it didn't go the other way. A rated R WoW would be dope.

@@ManBugler Firstly you are lying. I have the literal original wow box its 12+ in USA its always been T for Teen. Currently in many countries Dragonflight and War Within are rated M because the game has plenty of violence and killing.
