I know WoW is known for it's crazy login screens but like... thats not apart of the gameplay, you only see it for a few seconds every time you play.

I miss login screens like in wrath or tbc but in the end this is better than this "my whole family screen" we had in dragonflight for example.

11:35 keeping the talent tree is a good idea, because players like to progress things, particularly trees like it. It's partly why a lot of players like the current and classic talent trees over the ones we had from MoP through Shadowlands. Yes, you learn everything by the time you get to max, but it's also a good way to letting players learn/choose what they're getting. It's one reason why I don't necessarily like how some spells and passives are just learned upon leveling. There's no effort behind it (sure there's no effort to getting the points for the skyriding tree, but there's still the act of having to choose and select which one you want). Letting players choose/select their next power/passive has a much bigger impact on the player than just making your character auto-learn it. For that, I hope they don't get rid of it.

I personally had fun getting noticeable upgrades for dragonriding while leveling through DF at launch, so I'm glad that the tree still exists. It also helps new players process things easier!

You are the first person I have seen wholly confirm the 10-70 (to then flow into 70-80) follower dungeon leveling path and MAN what a paradigm shift that is! Like really, talk about giving the PVE instance game to every player from level 10 all the way to the great vault with delves! I don't think enough people are either realizing or appreciating the massive, positive social paradigm shift this is! The involvement of PUGs in your game is now more optional than ever! Play with friends or play alone, both fully supported all the way up in the one *TO* five instanced PVE path of the game! Just game changing!

Not just us, but like... let me put it to you this way: While I'm sure this isn't a blanket generalization, I would be VERY surprised if the logic of "why am I sitting being declined for M+ when Brann and Delves are right there" doesn't catch on! That kind of logic of "why am I tolerating tank/healer abuse" or just general PUG woes all get a new wrinkle when we have the option of an off ramp from that PUG life! Yes, soloists benefit greatly, but my guild has made follower dungeons a thing for us to do in our groups of 2-3, instead of queueing to fill a group out. It will be the same with delves on the table. The ripple effects are potentially very far reaching and positive in every way, and all because there are options!

I honestly find the arachnophobia filter weird. I suffered from arachnophobia for years, and the game honestly helped me get desensitized to the appearance of spiders.

It's certainly different but as someone who isn't really afraid of spiders (I've kept and bred tarantulas from all over the world), I'm certainly okay with them adding it. Some people are truly moved to tears and hysterics when presented with an arachnid, even an image of one. For those people, no reason not to help out and make the game less stressful.

Some good new changes, also we get the blitz battleground in rated, really nice add for some pvp player like me.

with accountwide rep for dragonflight do you get rep on every character for weekly and daily quests and events or only for the first character you complet them on?

Warbands will basically make it so you wont need a 2nd account for buying/selling items and transferring gold between realms since you can just deposit the gold into the war bank..swap toons and withdraw the gold on that realm, put the item in the warband bank and swap back to withdraw the item. I would be curious if eventually every single item on the AH will be region wide?

My thought was that it refers to the four armor types because warbands have the biggest impact on transmog imo. But...I care a lot about transmog so maybe that's my bias.

At this point they just need to enlarge the world and get rid of realms. With cross realm and such fast flying speeds make the world bigger since there aren't phases and just one massive server.

If i auction off items, do I unlock the xmogs for myself as well or does it only count if you sell to vendors?

Was about to ask the same question! BoE's that are worth something are not being sold to a Vendor, Even if i grab the Transmog... Rather have 100k instead on 1g and 59S + transmog :')

i dunno understand the Faction Changes ... i am able to Trade, Chat, Quest, doing Dungeons and Raids with my Friends from the Alliance site as a Horde Player or.. ? so is there any Restriction?

Pre patch: 480 gear w upgrades (already have) Set and mounts: Recolor Follower dungeons 10-70: get carried Warbands and account wide changes only benefit of the whole expansion. We're gonna hand you EVERYTHING at level 10, to purchase the 5th tab is 2.5M. That about sums it up! 🤣

It's not only the Otter that cant use the new "dragon flying" flight system, stuff like the Paladin class mount can't either

Anyone can learn the appearance, unless it's class locked, but only demon hunters will be able to transmog a glaive, for example.

Hey I want to make sure I understood correctly. If I make a new character, I will be able to play dragonflight even after lvl 70 ? All the zones, quests and dungeons ? (but not the raids obviously)

I was a bit worried about warband rep, but having quests reward it only once seems like a very valid solution.

Does anyone know if both factions will be able to que dungeons together while leveling?

I see we still have the old bank UI. Was hoping that would be updated too.

Something not mentioned much, when Dragonflight reps go account wide only your highest counts, the rest get dumped as if you never did it. Got Niffen at 15 on one person and 12 on another, only the 15 counts and the 12 get's tossed.

Does that mean my alts can collect the 'free' items like backpacks, vests, and shoulders after the patch or am I gonna have to buy them anyhow? I'm maxed out on one character across the board, but I wouldn't put it pass Blizzard just disconnecting these rewards for alts all together.

You can probably sell it and then buy it back to disenchant. Once you sell a BOE item it becomes soulbound.

If I have a MOP remix toon at 70 can I still do this? I heard time runners can become main toons but I’m not sure

Asking the right questions

The Spellbook change looks very convenient but flight speed looks fun af. Accessibility stuff is both kind and brilliant. Respect.

The Otterwordly Ottuk is Steady Flight only currently because it'd fit all 3 categories for flight making it the go to. (Ground, Flying and Aquatic) The only other mount that is both Flying and Aquatic are the dumb brain jellyfish from shadowlands, but they are restricted from using mount equipment to balance this out. [idk why blizz is against having a meta mount, especially one that's from collecting 500 mounts but whatever]

Wait, if the ottuk is steady-only, that would mean I can keep my current setup: I have two mounts on my action bar, one for dragonriding and the ottuk for "swimming in the air". So this is PERFECT for me!

@@theannoyedfiremage8721 Dunno if they'll change it but currently on beta if you have skyriding selected you can't use steadyflight until you swap with the button in the mount journal. The ottuk will be stuck on the ground.

Updated talent trees, yes. Hero talents, no. You get the 10 hero talent points as you level in war within to max.

After seeing this video...Legion Invasions is still the best Pre-Event. It was massive and exciting, Blizzard captured the feel of Azeroth being invaded by a large evil force perfectly. …But then gain, it was 2016, a completely different Blizzard and a much better time.

old mounts were good for short trips dragons were good for long ones so love that they ruined that by adding a 5 sec cast

It is a term often heard in the publishing industry. 'Evergreen' means that the content shouldn't need much change over time - just minor updates to stay current. In this case the evergreen changes are becoming standards of the game from launch of 11.0.0 and onward. Like steady flight and dynamic flight and warbands.

Only jarring thing I've found with skyriding is that races are(were?) at full Dragon Isles speed. So yes, normally you might not notice the speed decrease, but do a race and then try to go somewhere.. ? It's actually jarring in both directions - going in to the race and suddenly you're actually zooming, and then coming out of it and the limiter re-engages.

Best Prepatch ever. Really cool functions and improvement. Warnband ist my favorite because i am investing much in professions with alts. I LOVE it

Is pre-patch the same as beta? Also would anyone have any recommendations for a sufficient laptop to play WoW? My current one is gasping for air and ppl are rubberbanding more than T.I.

I dont recommend laptops they degrade very fast it’s a waste of money , a customized built gaming Pc is cheaper and way better for performance . If you need a laptop then you’ll have to pay the extra bucks to get a good gaming one , and prepare for it to deteriorate in performance in the next 2-4 years then you have to buy a new one for the optimal performance you were used to

Also people rubber-banding sounds more like a connection issue I’m pretty sure . Low performance computers will give you stuttering, screen freeze and low fps . Not people rubberbanding

@@Thrall966 Gaming laptops are also heavy, run hot, and don't even function all that well if you need a portable computer for work or school or something - too bulky and heavy to bring to class every day if that's what you need. The gaming laptop is the worst of both worlds.

​​@@marcedmonson Put the PC on the floor and get a wireless keyboard. Like people above said, gaming laptops are expensive and are hard to customize. It's definitely not cheaper. You can get a workable gaming PC for under $1000 that's better than a laptop for twice that.
