The Year I Fed the Coyotes | Trent Scott | TEDxMountainViewCollege

We all benefit when artists are able to create, and its societies’ responsibility to make sure we leave a space for the artists to be. The artists see what others don’t, and demonstrate courage every day to pursue uncharted paths to unknown lands.
In 2012, I conducted an impromptu experiment which would explain everything. It was the year I realized that creativity and wildlife have a lot in common and the way we think about wild animals and our relationship to our surroundings can show us a lot about being different and the courage required to feed the creative soul. This talk explains my short journey with the coyotes and my life experiences as an artist which has helped me discovered the wisdom in this experiment. The coyotes gave me insight into creativity, the artist’s struggle and what’s required to be an artist. I call this talk, “The year I fed the coyotes.”
