This video is about the PENTA Esports Pro Series, which happened recently! It featured teams like velocity, revenant, boom, bleed and many more (although not global esports). There was lots of drama that happened at this tournament, which could affect the valorant franchising league that has teams like sentinels, cloud9, 100t, drx, zeta division, paper rex, liquid, fnatic and navi in. india and indian valorant is on the rise!

Now im curious to see other bad tournaments. the only other one i can think of is the NA challengers LAN (im pretty sure it was challengers. might of been another tournament but im certain that it was part of VCT)that had many problems and pretty big ones such as the OCE teams that were supposed to play in got left in the dark and weren't able to compete

The ammount of toxicity you get to see after VLT lost against Bleed was just wow. come to watchparty of Eupho, VLT's Team Manager. as a moderator it was so hard to keep the chat clean and friendly. on the record we were giving 15+ timeouts/bans every minute. this community will never get better on the basis of "support" seen this enough. lost all hopes. all these kids wanna see is "wins". and will come to roast after a single whiff. not even roast. even abuses.

Ya just like when Global eSports won against VLT and then lost against another foreign team then every vlt fan kids were spamming GE HAVE MADE ALL STRATEGIES FOR VLT ONLY THEY ARE NOTHING AGAINST FOREIGN TEAMS . ONLY VLT CAN WIN AGAINST FOREIGN TEAMS. And then i never saw a single timeout to them 😂. Fact is you guys just want acclamations . Even a single comment/word against VLT you give them timeouts/bans and now crying here that viewers are kids 😂. After all you have to accept the fact that 90% viewers in India are kids . 20+ don't have so much time to spend on seeing a game stream. That's the reason why even small tournaments in India gets 10k+ views live and even big tournaments like vct in foreign barely gets that much view without counting Indian viewers

Skyesports and TEC did an amazing job too. People out here comparing online events (Nodwin) vs a LAN event. TBH no organizers dared to organize a PC LAN event post COVID due to the obvious complexity and the cost involved. These organizers dared to do that and were the first to do it in India in the valo scene. Of course not without faults and delays because of the obvious complexities, but if you watched any of the caster or the players streams they were greatly appreciative about how well they were treated, no less than a true athlete/celebrity. People aren't realizing that this paves way for other organizers to conduct such events and also learn from what went wrong the previous time. Support such initiatives and provide constructive criticism for them to grow instead of being so toxic making anyone lose motivation to even try. I'm sure if both of these orgs conduct another LAN event it'd be much better with the experience that they'd have gained.

W comment. People are quick to jump the hate bandwagon. The stream delay obviously is a big issue, but other than that, I'm sure the players wouldn't have any complaints. Having been to the LAN events by both Skyesports and TEC, I was pretty impressed with their effort given it's their first LAN production.

I used to be a competitive player as well and well things turned out much worse for me but past side what you shared is true and India as a esports area is pretty shit compared to other countries I know this comment is gonna get down vote to hell but truth is truth and India esports scene is shit because 1. People are selected biased of there connections in the scene rather than skill. 2. There is a lot of discrimination with people. And many more that I rather not say. I used to have a friend that was a manager for a esports org and he used to say the working conditions for him were shit and considering my personal experience its true. 2:15 his opinion isn't the issue. The issue is that he's on the job and should be profesional on the job. It's not production's fault he said something that obviously would put his career at risk. Oversights on production is nothing new and nothing malicious. Especially when it's a tournament set in a place like India where there might be less chances that the production team is used to hosting events of the sort and where budget might be more limited. He was the one willfully doing something on his job that he shouldn't do. Blaming production for an oversight is a weird way of seeing things.

Can we have a small talk about the events and vtournaments (+lan events) held in a small south Indian state like Kerala. I think this Indian gaming community doesnt even take a look at the efforts put up by the streamers, gamers and Esports orgs from parts of South India and they are given little to no attention. The strive to do their best and yet they arent even given a look at. They do with what they have, but will do it with their 100% will and effort.

Biggest thing that nobody speaks of is how there are rarely any open tournaments with a good prize pool. Major broadcasters host- streamer , invite only tournaments and the people who play these tournaments are 34-40 year old players who are not good at the game . I don't understand how does one expect the indian scene to grow without giving space or opportunity for it to grow. If you look at upcoming tournaments they are usually streamer showdowns or some random tournaments with invite only teams. There are no new players in the indian scene, the same old CS players are playing major Valorant tournaments and will continue to do so because the broadcasters want more viewership and of course money. They advertise themselves as being platforms which expand the indian scene but all they care about is making money. There is no incentive for new players to play competitively since they are never given any attention. LOL

But when anybody tries to raise voice against these injustices there voices are shut down by owner of diff orgs which are benifited .and as an Indian valo player ( casual player not interested in going pro anytime soon) our voice are not answered cause this doesn't benifit many investors and this is basically purely profit driven even they have put India valo name to dirt.

No hate to Indians. However, I watched latest youtube vdo from a player participating in an Indian lan tournament (prefer not to mention the names, both the player and the tournament). At one point he told the story about his experience with the lan tournament he had in india. He mentioned that he could not aim properly because the surface of the table was not smooth (It's bumpy even with a mousepad). When he's dragging the mouse to aim, it cannot be done smoothly. If this is true, it's really mess up. I mean, how hard it is for the organizer to prepare proper tables.
