I am the type of gamer that marathons most games that they play and I'm a bit of a completionist. So I don't often switch between in rapid succession. That means putting a disc into the drive isn't as big of a chore for me than it might be for some other gamers. On top of all that I like to collect things, so having a physical game collection to be able to look at and remember my experiences in those game makes having the disc worth it for me.

I just want to point out to the guys for their fast food discussion; I actually worked at a Sonic in my town for a year. I was in the kitchen for most of it, but ended up spending about 4 months being trained "up front" (taking orders, making drinks, drive thru, etc). Before I left, I was being set up to be a shift manager. When we have promotions like the lil chickies, we're not told. Corporate sends someone to change our signage and that's all. There would be days when I'd walk in and we'd get orders for 15 corn dogs 5 times in a row, and eventually someone would check our company twitter and say "Oh shit, it's 50 cent corn dog day"

Jack: "I don't use disks, therefore consoles should no longer have disk drives." That's great for you Jack since you live in a major city with good internet. I live in a small town with decent internet at best. The disk drive has no negative effects on the console, removing it would do more harm than good for the gaming industry as a whole.

Unless your internet is maxed out at 5mbps you don't get to say it sucks, the majority of people in the world have shit internet like that so we are stuck having to buy games physical because if not then it would take a week for one single game since nearly every single new game is over 20 gigs at least.

Here in my small town in Canada, we have both self-serve and full service gas stations, and the gas station on the native reserve pumps it for you too. We also tip the person pumping the gas, especially in winter xD My town is also a border town, and a lot of people here will go fill up in the US instead, hahah.

As someone who worked at a Mcdonald's for two years and had to deal with the machine breaking every night. No it's not because we haven't cleaned it yet. It's not broken either. It's because 50 people come in and order ice creme at the same time and ice creme gets too soft, usually because we have to fill up the machine with more ice milk and it doesn't get a chance to actually freeze. I actually worked at a Mcdoanlds in the DFW area in Texas, and I can tell you this, the menu on the cash machine is COMPLETELY different than the menu, if there’s a new item, you literally have to search for it in the multiple tabs on the screen

I've been to a Mcdonalds that said they had no ice cream. I also worked at panda. The reason things run out so much, Is because everything is cooked throughout the day. It's not all pre made. It's made in batches between 2 woks. There are at least 12 different food options to mix together which is why sometimes there is an insane wait. Especially depending if your within the inner city where EVERYONE goes there and constantly empties out the batches making it slightly difficult for Cooks to stay ahead of people coming in and what they might be wanting.

If Micheal, Jeremy, and Gavin are The Lads, and Geoff, Ryan, and Jack are The Gents, does that make Trevor, Matt, and Alfredo The Sirs?

Disc should never go away, because a console is primarily for games, which means for kids, young adults and less adults. I honestly do not have a modern (post ps2) because of this, I want to be able to buy physical disks that can be played on the go. Steam is the same, I can't go steam because of a credit card. it's all good on murica,central europ and asia, but there's other markets that credit cards or even the exchange of u$s to their currency is nuts, like, 60 u$s from where I live is today a rich number

the fact that somebody would pump your gas for you is so foreign to me (from Germany). Even more so, the lid to the gas tank is pretty much always locked and can only be unlocked with the car keys; with some cars you can even only open the outer lid when you open the driver side door. I don't understand why it would be illegal, either.

Came across the gas talk, where I am in southern Ontario there are few full service stations where they pump gas for you and it's typically more expensive than the self serve where you do it yourself, I just pump my own no matter how cold
