I once had the best captain ever. I didn't have friends and when we went to eat after a game she joined my table. When something was off she always saw that. It's been a year and we got separated. She finished U17 age group and I finished U15. Also my coach chose me to be the captain for my team. I really want to be as good captain as she was. Update: now I'm almost done palying U17 this year. And I had to play against her because she changed clubs due to school and she had to move closer to her home. It was hard to play against her because she was there to help of I needed her.

I'm also captain of the team, it's really weird cause im that one quite kid at school- and when we have a match i look like a whole different person... Im also really short so it looks really weird xd but im glad to be team captain :D

People say I’m to bossy of a captain but all I try to do is help them and it’s just my personally that I’m chatty and can be annoying at some times but my coaches always supports me to help the team

Hey, so I know this isn’t a place to be doing this, but at this point, I’m desperate. Could anybody please over the age of 16 be my “mentor”. I play competitive soccer and I’m 13, but I can’t enjoy the game that I love because I’m so focused on the mistakes I make. This weekend I played in Kansas City where I played 3 games, and none of them I enjoyed because I was so focused on the mistakes. I want to be able to feel confident and play confident. I don’t feel happy with myself as a player. Anybody been through this?
