Coach here. We just had a rival team fold and all their players came to our tryouts, some very strong ones also. I had to release 3 players that had been with me for about 7 years (we're going into a U17 season) as well as a few others. Horrible thing, to have to do - but it's not fair to run it like a clique and just push away stronger players who deserve the spots. On a lighter note - it's awesome to see the comments here. The soccer culture is an amazing thing and it's very rewarding for players, coaches and parents too, I like the drinking beer and playing cards with parents in the hotel bit as a bonus !

I once had a regional tournament in Camarillo and there was a stand that had an ALEX MORGAN jersey my size and I was like DAD PLEASE YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW BAD I WANT ONE. He said "if you score you can" me : "who agreed for you to even come along on these types of things

I remember watching this video almost two years ago, I couldn’t relate to any of this since I was in a small, and bad club team. why is this super relatable i have two tournaments in february and we like to hang out at like twelve a clock in the morning and we would be running around the whole time lol !!

1:35 LEGIT ME LAST WEEKEND. I had a tournament in Downey California and we played downeys team and IT WAS FRICKEN HORRIBLE! The team was literally so much taller than us a really dirty players, at the end of the game ( it was our last game that day) me and my mom were walking to the car and the Downey team was parked legit right next to our car and I told my mom to wait until they left the fields and then we could go over there but she refused so we had to walk pass their car and we both exchanged dirty looks at each other 😂😂😂

1:42 that's the bus for playoffs is. A damn prison. A entire bus filled with 13 players in it, it's uncomfortable when you try to sleep in a bus seat and your there for usually 6 hours to 1 day in a bus that goes to far away places for playoffs and is there for a week cause you got the first games before playoffs to see who goes first than you do the actual playoffs. I've gone to 2 and it always goes into January. So we're freezing to death cause of the weather. I dislike the bus to doom (what me and my friends call it)
