We never had a talent show, but all the friends that I performed for at least told me that they enjoyed the tricks~ luckily there wasn't cringe, but I also made my own patter; if I had been trying to do patter like Criss angel, I'm sure it would have been hyper-cringe

    The extra rude part about the whole uncle performance is actually deeper in the subtext imo. I saw an episode of Mythbusters about escaping underwater cars, and the thing that typically ruins a normal person's chances of escape is how the car turns upside down in the water, making navigation even harder as you're upside down. By having the crane he is removing a large portion of the risk while pretending he's in the same mortal danger his family was in. It's just so disrespectful lmao.

  • @toptiertech7291

    @toptiertech7291

    20 күн бұрын

    Most cars do not flip upside down in the water. What ruins most people’s chances of survival is the fact they would panic, struggle to get the seatbelt off and waste energy. Then opening a door underwater is not the same as opening on land. You need a large amount of force to open that door which is very difficult for the normal person to generate without a stable base. That’s why you’re told to break the window as soon as possible. Climb out of the window. What he did was disrespectful. But the thing you mentioned about the car flipping is no where near the most difficult thing about escaping the car

    Oh my gawd! You're right, I had forgotten how incredibly fkin douchy that show was. The beautiful tribute to his uncle not escaping death was only made a sweeter gesture by the fact that he made his family re-live the trauma... wow.. What an a**hole. Watching Mindfreak without your smart ass commentary, would have just given me a serious rash. Instead I laughed my ass off out loud for 15 min straight. Thank you, sir

    Not sure how to break this to you guys, but I am blind and I knew that this show was completely phony. Even the audio description track sounded skeptical. As it described the "magic tricks" there was an implied question mark after every sentence. I kept waiting for the narration voice to say "aw bullshit". That being said though I must admit that is the very reason I listened to it... The more sincere he acted the funnier it got.

    @@staffordmcanuff8675 Wow. What an ignorant statement. Just because you wouldn't be able to survive 10 minutes without your sight doesn't mean others can't. Every version of windows comes out with a screen narrator that reads everything to you as you tab through the screen, and I can spell them tricky words because I learned more than you obviously. I didn't use any big words that might confuse you like "firetruck". And the name is not Stevie Mcmuff (There I spelled something wrong to make you happy)

    I went to Vegas as a 13 year old emo kid to see Criss Angel perform. Hung out at the Luxor all day and saw cameras so I waited around and eventually got picked to film a magic segment. Then they told us to act all excited and amazed and surprised. And we were so excited thinking Criss Angel was coming out to perform. Nope, it was random people performing tricks from his magic kit for a promo... Oh well, I signed the paperwork so maybe I was in a commercial somewhere.
