My brother has a 2000 Lightning. Transmission went up and it’s been sitting in his driveway for almost a decade now. He says he goes out to start it once in a while. Tires are flat from sitting. I wish he would just sell it and let someone else take care of it. I hate seeing rare vehicles just sit and rot away.

Please for the love of lightnings save this truck. While a lot of people wanted Vanilla Ice's white fox body. A white lightning with red rims is my dream truck.

This Lightning reminds me of one that use to be around here. In 96 the guy bought a mystic Cobra but it only lasted a few years after serval crashes and off-roading adventures. Then the Lightning came and abused. I haven't seen it in over 20yrs so I'm sure it's in a field rotting like the Cobra was last I saw it.

I owned this truck briefly. Only reason it's clean under hood is I pressure washed it!! I still have Cervini hood that was on it.

I never understand why people don’t take better care of their vehicles, much less a special vehicle like a Lightning.

Sadly, this Lightning looks far better than one of my neighbors. Sits in their driveway slowly rotting. They are unfortunately just the typical people that live their entire lives saying, "one day I'll fix it up". Yea, I call BS on that

I had a 2000 …. Very expensive to make fast . Best bet is to rip out that piece of trash 5.4 and auto tranny and swap it out with a new coyote /whipple/ t-56 magnum

That is sad to see, my 97 F150 with 285k original motor/trans looks at ton better on the interior, and my exterior looks a bit better, my red paint is not looking good, the clear is a bit done, but you hate to see abuse like that.
