I love watching your videos and live streams. You both never have a bad thing to say about the athletes and neither do those who watch along with you. I watched the live stream of the announcements stream with Colin Bryce, Terry Hollands and Eddie and there were a lot of negative comments. Thanks for having such a great and watchable channel.

These are some good groups. None are easy to call - especially 3, as you guys said. My prediction? Paaaaiin! But also... Group1: Luke and Trey. I originally had Luke and Eddie Williams, but you guys convinced me on Trey beating him on the stone off - though depends how he is after his injury. Group 2: Hooper and Andrade. I'd love to see Ondrej in the final, but I don't see him winning a stone-off. I do think he'll be in 2nd though. Group 3: Matt Ragg and Aivars. Really could be any 2 from this group though. Group 4: Singleton and Rauno. Tough group, but No one beating Rauno in a stone-off and he's too stubborn to not be there. Also, he said he wasn't training for Europe's, he was training for World's, and in better shape and more prepped for these specific events, should come good. Group 5: Tom and Bobby. I'll admit, again, I originally had Tom and Jaco, but Loz sold me on Bobby's capability (and Jaco's not great-ness on Stones). I half suspect Tom to coast for a 2nd knowing he'll likely have an easy stone-off, especially if Bobby starts very strong - giving Bobby the group. Would that for Tom be less energy given how good he is on stones? Again. Great groups, and there are always surprises.

They do this every year to the champ. Brian Shaw had really easy heats the years after he won. It's just how it goes. 1 seed gets the treatment.

The excitement in worlds for me nowadays is who gets out the groups. The final is between a couple guys but the groups are the real excitement. Wasn't that long ago that the field was made up of guys who'd never get out their group but now it feels like everyone has a chance

Group 1: Trey wins, Luke beats Faires in the stone off Group 2: Hooper wins, Bilton beats someone in the stone off making his first final. Group 3 (Hardest group IMO, doesn't have the strongest guys but everyone in this group is very evenly matched): Evans wins, avairs beats kearney in the stone off Group 4: Singleton wins, Rauno beats anyone in the stone off. Group 5: Jaco wins, Bobby gets disappointed in the stone off once again against Tom.

WR in nichol stones Almost had the fastest overall time on the loading medley last year at WSM he just barely dropped the last implement at the end. Amazing Car walk Decent at viking press Deadlift is his only weakness in the qualifiers. We'll see!

Trey and Bobby are both going to be lucky to get through to the final. Group 2 looks easy for Mitch to coast through My predictions: 1 - Luke wins, trey and Tristan stone off, trey goes through 2 - Mitch wins, fojtu and Andrade in stone off. Fojtu through 3 - Matt ragg wins, avairs and rob stone off, avairs goes through (hard one to call) 4 - Evan wins, rauno and pavlo stone off and rauno to go through. For me that’s the upset group for Pavlo. He’ll have to win that group because he’s not beating Evan or rauno on a stone off 5 - tom wins, Jaco and Bobby stone off. Jaco to go through. Bobby could easily win that though cause Tom normally takes it easy in the heats cause he knows he’ll win the stones anyway
