Check out MBB helicopter and Westland Lynx from the 70's for starters. It is very much pilot skill and confidence and not so very much aircraft capability. Of course with the uglier choppers that nobody wants to show off, the manufacturers now install avionics systems that do the work for the pilots.

Back in Bragg they put loud speakers in them. It’s horrifying. When in the woods you can’t find where the music is coming from. Feels like incoming missiles. If you haven’t heard them coming in 1st time terrifying.

At bragg right now. This never happened. Adding a speaker would mean the entire aero dynamics would have to be tested and approved and then a aircraft variant designation would have to be assigned for the entire force. Second you don't hear missiles that are coming toward you as the are flying faster than the speed of sound. Third it's called the field not the woods. But nice try trying to make it seem like you were a soldier.

It makes me proud to be part of the west (not that my takes paid for any of it) but to know that we still have superior tech. and knowhow compared to those who said, "the West is weak!" as recently demonstrated so brilliantly by Ukraine against the supposedly "2nd most powerful military in the world."
