With Bednarek 2nd leg, Knighton 3rd leg, and Lyles at anchor with perfect passes, you could run Joe Kovacs at lead off and they'd still win.

Coleman on the lead and yes, the three Bed on 2nd, Knight rider on 3rd and No Nonsense at anchor and we good...

Natural way to make USA 4x100 team better is to consistently have the same 4 guys win the national championships for a few years without indcident, but that is near impossible.

The US system is letting the runners down, but it has always sucked. They need to pick 4x100 from the previous years results so they can practice. Lyles seems serious. Will be a great coach some day. I would like to point out that the relay team is coached so badly they would lose to a high school girls JV team on a regular basis. Got to get that stick around without getting dq'd

Coach Rob . everything you said is true you’re not telling no lie. You have the proof .the USA need to get it together. They can do it. The U.S.A should win the 100 m final the 200 m final the 4x 100 m final the 4 x 4 that’s so much faith I have in the USA this year

Cohesion is just as critical as speed in the sprint relay. Sure, on paper Team USA should walk away with the gold in the men's Olympic final, but Coach Rob pointed out time and again, it is the team who performs smoothest on the day (combining both speed and crisp handoffs) that prevails.

If everyone shows up to relay camp, and they practice their exchanges, they should be fine.

This year Olympic, I expect the USA to win the 4 x 100 m they have the team to do it as a Jamaican American do USA is the favorite to win the 4 x 100 m final . I am going to be very very disappointed if they don’t win it because they have the team to do it the 4 x 4 400m U.S.A should winit. This is the year for the U.S.A team in track and field on the men side. good luck and don’t F..K it up.

So many fast men in the USA, a pity after the US trials for the Olympics that they choose their 4 guys and practice, would have a good month to practice.

I think basically take that Gainesville Allstar team as a blueprint. Plug Coleman in as 1st leg obviously instead of Grant Holloway. PJ Austen stays 2nd Leg. Erriyron Knighton stays third leg. Noah Lyles 4th leg in Fahbullehs spot.

Nice video coach. Just wondering, why do the women still get it right, but they use the same system?

That is a great question. I don’t have any clear answer. Perhaps The talent gap between the top sprinting women for America, Jamaica, and other others is so significant, that other nations aren’t able to close it by simply passing the stick around cleanly. However, on the men’s side, as fast as the USA actually is, they don’t have the luxury of underachieving in the baton passes and winning a major international championship most years. I would have to dive deeper into the numbers to verify such a theory.

Agreed. Team USA tends to screw up relays. It's very predictable.

ANYONE who does NOT recognize team USA's problems handling the stick, either does NOT understand track, nor its recent history, or just enjoys lying to themselves.
