Chef Victor Arguinzoniz of restaurant Asador Etxebarri is a pioneer of grilling who took the humble fire-meets-ingredient technique to the heights of the gastronomic scene: find out more about the well-loved chef, winner of the Estrella Damm Chefs’ Choice Award 2021.
Arguinzoniz received the only peer-voted accolade in the awards programme at The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2021, sponsored by S.Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, which was held in Antwerp, Flanders. His restaurant Asador Etxebarri in the Basque Country of Spain was also announced as the No.3 position in the list.

Just wanted to say im in love with this restaurant..... and the area.....and phisophy there and place.....but i will never be able to come cause im not rich and live in Athens..... MANY MANY MANY congratulations to the chef as i listened that also the machine to grill food were his invention......that means dedication love passion and concentration on what you do......or that you dont grill for example fish with squid in the same grill.....or am i wrong???? If i was rich i would have come already you must know!!!! Keep up the good work and love for quality food!!!!!! God bless you and keep you all safe!!!!!!

Como bien dices, es un teletransporte intrínseco, te lleva a tu niñez, a momentos en familia, a vivir juntos y disfrutar, si señor, cuidas que tu trabajo sea impecable para todo el que se atreve a acercarse, calidad exquisita y buen trabajo, como Dios manda. Ojalá aprendería un poco de lo que tu sabes y pa casa!!!! Da gusto verte trabajar e inovar

Excellent, but here in the States this is called Grilling not Barbecue. Great restaurant! Basque ftw!
