Back when they know how to walk! Interesting how much both Galliano and Raf captured the essence of Dior! Raf did an intense translation of Monsieur Dior designs for a new generation, being clean and refreshing, While Galliano used all of Monsieur Dior love for drama, experiments with textiles and this passion that transcend it fashion itself, turning into something untouchable! This is such a beautiful film, but way too short. It does show the whole story, though, concluding with the end of the creation process. Dior was the greatest, turned women into goddesses . Wish this video were available to buy . The exhibition at the end reminds me of the one in the movie "The Women", which is from 1930 and in black and white, but when the exhibition starts, it's in color, then, after, goes back to black and white. It's beautiful , the designs all being by ADRIAN, who worked for years for films . If you get the DVD, you'll see the color part. In the theatre I first saw it, in 1973, it was all in black and white .
