Christianity has one ginormous flaw - the belief that we are innately irredeemable and can only be saved by a god. This god who is worst than any monster that humans have ever produced. A god who feels he needs to flood the entire world and pretty much mass genocide every one but a handful of people. A god who nuked two cities. A god who ordered Joshua to kill every man, woman, child, baby and animal in Jericho. A god that demands we worship him or suffer in hell. A god that teaches us to hate and be judgmental about LQBT and people who worship a different god. A god that teaches us to cower in fear of his wrath, to tells us are worthless without him and to never question the irrational things he tells us, and etc., etc., etc., etc. That this is all done by one monstrous god and yet Christians still woship him is baffling. With a god like that, who needs the devil? But I understand. Believers are scared of hell, so they'll convince themselves that their god is loving and worship him. Fear and self-loath is the core of Christianity. What a rotten religion. Rotten for both the spirit and the brain.

As a Christian, I think it's necessary that we not only stand up for our faith. But to also walk in it, and apply the teachings of scripture to our daily lives. God's morality is first, God's judgement is first, and God's plan is first. His love echoes throughout the world into our hearts and minds, if we choose to accept it. The hardest reality to accept is that God knows more than we do, and that we must trust in his understanding. To believe simply is not enough. What is the definition of belief, to accept that something in your heart is true and to follow it. If we say we are of God, but don't show it, then our meanings are empty words without love. We must always test the spirit, including our own. Pushing ourselves to follow his law. You know what's ironic? Is that people don't understand why Jesus came down. Throughout the old testament, God did and made himself appear and people still complained. They always said God was unfair. Yet , to prove them wrong, he came down bearing our suffering, our transgressions, the full human condition and still followed and fulfilled the law. Without Christ's sacrifice, we wouldn't have any chance to earn or find salvation. He ensured that chance when he did that. We were not worthy, yet he saw something in us, just like how he saw something in the Samaritan woman at the well. I was raised in the church. For many years I walked away from God, but after many years I started reading and studying scripture and God came back into my life and i accepted Jesus again.

Agreed. Caveat to this is that mainstream media still don't tolerate Christians or let them express their beliefs. Not all Christians are the same or are good, but the fact remains that Christians feel silenced and humiliated. Especially because we face ridicule and danger for having beliefs like unborn babies should be protected. In the US, you are shut down, silenced, and discriminated against if you dare have a conservative or Christian POV. And yet, a lot of us allow and ask others of different opinions/beliefs to come to the table to debate the differences. It's a sad thing when Christian Conservatives like me are scared to go to college because of how hostile the environment is or if we do go to colleges, we only get shown liberal views. Can't even count how many times Republicans were turned away from Colleges, blocked from speaking. It's very sad. Not saying it only happens to us but ESPECIALLY RIGHT NOW, it's very blatant.

Christianity has one ginormous flaw - the belief that we are innately irredeemable and can only be saved by a god. This god who is worst than any monster that humans have ever produced. A god who feels he needs to flood the entire world and pretty much mass genocide every one but a handful of people. A god who nuked two cities. A god who ordered Joshua to kill every man, woman, child, baby and animal in Jericho. A god that demands we worship him or suffer in hell. I was raised Christian, and I hate the contradictions. We're taught not to cast stones, but we cast stones at every chance we get. Someone doesn't follow Christian values? Judge and shun them. Tell them they'll go to hell. It's such a common scene. I was already Christian and people within the community tried to encourage me to more involved in Church and I could not politely refuse them. No matter how nicely I tried to word it, they get offended and think of me as some horrible sinner. Nothing drove me further from Christ than the Christians.

It’s actually not just Christianity that’s being mocked by the advanced western societies it’s any kind of religion…do you know why? Because humans in western countries have developed into such an extent of freedom and technological development and self promoted thinking that it’s almost impossible for them to genuinely take religion seriously anymore it all started with the so called enlightenment boom. Western country civilians demanded that decisions should start to be made outside of the churches space of influence and be more on self promoted reflection. Middle eastern countries have yet to earn that freedom…it’s simply a natural evolution state of mind allowed by both technology and freedom those are the worst nightmares of religion and the best friends of humanity. If it weren’t for the enlightenment era the west would not have invented and created the grand majority of the technology used in the world today. Now it’s not fair to just say the west China also had influence as well as Japan and other similar countries because just like the west those nations followed the same principle to completely separate religion from politics and the educational system. That’s why all the technology advancement and bright ideias is always created by this regions of the world and never by those still stuck in pre enlightenment ideals. Getting our educational system and goverments far away from religion was the best decision our ancestors could have ever made and why states where politics and education is separated from religion are by far the strongest and most developed countries in the world. I if you are a religious person especially from one of this nations who still mixed politics and excitation with religion it will hurt to ear this but we have to acknowledge it anyways.

You realize that Muslims were the only people who would protect Jews from christians? Millions of Jews literally fled Europe to the Middle East to get protection from the christians. If you're wondering why the whole Israel Palestine was going on nowadays is because so many Jews were afraid of what the Europeans would do to them that they fled to Palestine where the Ottomans welcome them with open arms and gave them a lot of autonomy

Also where did Christians respect every religion when they colonized most of the world and would impress anybody who wasn't a white christian? Two videos before this, I saw a Muslim woman mock the bible. I'm angry and sad that this happens and I hope people will stop attacking our religion - and that we will stop attacking other religions.

It's not about Christianity being hated, it's about the fact that if you vocally hate other religions, you're more likely to get killed for it. It's fear.

It is also the biggest religion. It is also the most practiced and loved. All religions have issues, but since Christianity is very common, it’s easy to get information to hate. Atrocities like residential schools or the crusades or long lines of abuse and I can just go on and on. That’s why it is so easy to criticize. It gets the most attention on your music video or during a protest and such. It is the most common, so you’ll leave a bigger ripple in the world’s radar. It kind of reminds me in farcry 5 when the main antagonist does a bunch of illegal things and prophesied that the authorities would do something about it. Once they did, his followers instantly believed him even when the outcome was obvious.

If you guys quit using politics to legislate your control over our lives I wouldn't mock you to cope.

No... not all Christians... but Christian Fundamentalists are the ones behind these legal assaults on life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Also the ones making such extreme abortion limitations that in some states the act of wanting to give birth puts women's lives in jeopardy. They use the book to justify themselves, when the book also justifies the other side. That book is used as a weapons and when weapons are pointed at us we naturally want to defend ourselves against them.

The devil is the ruler of this world. If you're loved by everyone is because you're prob conforming to the sinful ways of this world, therefore the world that the devil rules loves you. Making you someone that doesn't stand for anything. Just someone that goes with the flow and with anything that is sinful and ungodly.

As a Norse Pagan and a former Christian, I cannot truly hate or mock Christianity because that would just make me a hypocrite. I just wish every Christian I meet wouldn't force their views upon me. Sometimes we as individuals choose our own paths to follow, and that is fact that some people can't accept.
