It's similar to being married to a raging drunk who bellows his anger for hours and hours when sober, only to be violent when drunk on a continuous basis. But you can't get out of the marriage for some reason because the community eliminated social services and other organizations except for the police who does not "serve and protect." You can't blame Fake News for all this bad stuff because it's real. You can't blame Trump alone because his supporters are all-in on the bad stuff like blood-thirsty sharks. Right now, it seems like evil is winning. It takes a special amount of strength to defeat this tidal wave of evil, and many of us are spent.

When indigenous people in the Arctic died of smallpox their bodies immediately froze rather than begin decomposing. As the permafrost thaws and heaves, the bodies in the old graves also thaw. Those with smallpox (Variola major) may still contain live bacteria that is will be released into the environment. While it's true that withdrawing from the WHO is a bad move, It's also true that the WHO is China's lapdog. They have been for years. The top dog of the WHO, the Director-General, was Margaret Chan, who was also the Chinese delegate from 2006 - 2017. During this period, the WHO became increasingly vocal in their endorsements of traditional chinese medicines. That's right, the traditional chinese medicines that are driving illegal wildlife trade and putting so many species in danger. The TCM that is rooted in superstition, and not scientific observation. The TCM that has repeated shown to be no more effective then placebo. Curiously, the WHO doesn't support other forms of alternative medicine, like homeotheraphy. Only TCM gets a free pass. Because China. Someone needs to wrest control of the WHO from China. Preferably someone other than the US.

I love when Trump is talking about how much the government spends on WHO when his golf outings have cost American taxpayers 140-300 million dollars. Trump playing golf has cost at least 140 million dollars in travel expenses alone in the 3.5 years he has been in office.

Think about it this way: Every penny that isn't spent on (useful) stuff, can be taken by Trump to fund his own (selfish) projects. If I was in his position I'd like to have all the money at my disposal aswell. #defundhospitalsfundgolf

@Zuma Zuma I mean, changing last names upon coming to America is fairly common. My history from senior year once told us how he got his last name, Elsaesser. Apparently his ancestor came to the US, and when asked about his name, the US official couldn’t understand it and just asked him where he was from. He responded with “I’m from Alsace” (a region at the Franco-German border which changed hands many times, written “Elsass” in German), to which the official told him that his name would be Elsaess from now on. Oh, and of course there’s a certain family, not sure if you’ve heard of them, who came to the US around the beginning of the 20th century and changed their original family name of “Drumpf” to smg else...
