Of course they are. Because in their minds they know people don't know the real truth behind the words. For instance, Christmas. A pagan holiday that dates back to Roman days and the seven days of sin aka Saturnila(Dec 17th to Dec. 25th) . Despite these facts, people continue to blindly celebrate a false holiday.

god frigging dammit, its hard to stomach the posibility that all you said is true (im not saying that in a bad way), i mean, for what purpose would they do all that? is there a point in all that symbolism? I could understand if we where talking about some kind of goverment or extremely powerfull individuals (by powerfull i mean people who has lots of power at their disposal, be it by money, information, social standing, etc), but then again, if they are members of secret societies or organizations, why would they flaunt it in the open for everyone to see?

  • @XxBlackWarri0rxX

Questions? lol i think that even if i asked something it would only mean that i would have more and more questions. One of my friend´s brother had a knack for all this, mostly from a metaphysic/buddhist view, i always tended to end up talking to him about those things, but we simply never had enough time. I remember when once he told me about one of his long time friend (who also teaches metaphysics and taught him all he knew), who suffered an accident which doctors told him that he would have to be in the hospital for like 1 whole year, but he knew different methods of meditation (i dont really remember how but he mentioned Chi) and in only 2 months he was already out and completely well. That being said, i believe that what stopped me from immersing myself in the studies of all these things is fear, fear that im not ready to completely deconstruct all we know about society (even tho im 22 years old), yet i decided to study psychology, more specifically the french school (Freud/Lacan) to see if i could learn anything about the mind, yet i fear its not enough, it clearly introduces you to another conception of how the mind affects the body, you always hear talking about stress and all but they dont know the real implications that even the slightest trauma from anywhere in your life could come later to break you down in any number of ways (sadly, i suffered that twice , having fallen ill with no reason whatsoever when i was completely healthy and i couldnt be cured by normal means). So maybe instead of asking specific questions about certain matters, i think i would rather ask you: What should i look for? Where? How? My friends brother sometimes recommended me some books while we where talking but i always ended up forgetting which ones he said...or maybe i didnt want to remember in order to avoid dabbling in such things.

Tears of joy at what the mind of a gifted master of my piers can create in to this world. Not in the sense of technical aspect... But the creativity and the beauty of that choir. You've got people like Jonnhy Greenwood and Nobuo Uematsu. Marcin Przybyłowicz is a master at his craft. @@redninenine_ yeah i thought about that too, but if you think deeper you would just let it go.. The shaelmaar will die at the next contest and if not then the other one (eventually). And so his death would give nothing good to the world and would also mean nothing to anyone (people will just find another beast in its place). If you spare him, then people will think that witchers do not always kill "monsters" and are not bloodthirsty, therefore you may cause someone to change their views on the topic. CDPR was also wise on this one, you need to let the shaelmaar live in order to receive Aerondight (more know as Excalibur and not Caliburn.. people confuse them sometimes. Or you can do some other things in its place)

But the genre of that track is super grim, and the genre of this original track is 'adrenaline-pumping epic' lol. They don't feel the same at all.

@@grumpywitcher It isn’t. If you listen to the entirety of "For Honour! For Toussaint!" You can tell that they simply looped parts of it for the fight with the Shaelmaar. While there are a bunch of unique tracks, the Shaelmaar fight track isn’t one of them, it is simply For Honour! For Toussaint! With some loops parts. If there was any actual work done on the music, it was scarcely any, probably because CDPR didn’t want to waste too much time pushing Blood and Wine, which was essentially an entire game in and of itself, rather than simply being DLC.

@@jaywalker6464 personally guides and tutorials kinda ruined the experience, I beat the first half in excitement and then I picked up some guides on the internet. That quickly ruined my game because my Geralt powered up so quickly, tearing through all monsters and bosses with op builds, enemies attack patterns and witcher gears. I'm no longer have the same awesome feeling when I crafted my long-awaited Rednadian armor or picked up a shining relic sword as a newbie. After that, I played the two DLCs without looking at any guide and it was mind-blowing again.

I actually tried using aard (and bombs) on the wall and it didn't work. Ended up figuring out that if you get directly in front of it and hit it with igni when its head is up, it'll momentarily stun it and create an opening. Igni always impresses me how useful it is while being the only sign I didn't put any points into until after the next boss. odd thing is, bombs work fine on later ones. I found out you can just throw a poison bomb against a wall and it'll roll into it and poison itself.

+Whity :D I gotta agree with you on that. The boss fights in Hearts of Stone were relatively difficult, especially the Toad Prince at first. The boss fights in Blood and Wine were all pretty easy, and for the most part, a bit repetitive considering the majority of the bosses are vampires. The only one that gave me trouble was Dettlaff because of his bat attack, but once I got past that, defeating him was a piece of cake. Can't say they weren't fun though.

@@optimaltt6070 Wild Shaelmaar would kill people for the sake of killing, but the one encountered in the arena wasn't a wild Shaelmaar. It was bred in captivity, thus it wouldn't have attacked the people unless it felt threatened, and of course it does, since they're poking the poor thing with sticks and urging it to fight knights in arenas, only for it to then end up being humiliated.

@@the_furry_inside_your_walls639 Killing beings for sport is shit but about the shaelmaar not killing you because it was "hand raised" you're wrong. I was replaying Blood & Wine yesterday and I read the description of the "Shaelmaar given by the Emperor of Nilfgaard", (the specific shaelmaar you fight in the arena) and it states that despite being taken from its nest as a young shaelmaar and being bred by Nilfgaardian arena masters for *fighting* it still retained all its natural aggressiveness and bloodthirst. Shaelmaar don't seem to me as a being you'd be able to give "belly rubs" even if you feed it, it seems like they'd just kill you as soon as they become able to no matter what kind of relationship you had with them. They ain't dog. Still killing them for sport is a bitch move and I spared the shaelmaar in both my replays.

PICK THE LESSER EVIL so when he was in the stadium and got down to fight the Shelamar i feel like this theme kinda describes to me how time goes by but Geralt will always try to survive and pick the lesser evil even if it means his own death

Its all about where the game is rekeased like in POLAND whe have a lot slavian parts becaouse you know we are slavian but america and england where there are more royal elements. And the witcher is all about the slavian elements and in the english version a lot of terms ( or so i think ) are more royal while on the polish version people stick to tradisins and the old language and the blood and wine dlc just totally swaps the too so the POLISh version just gets more royal caouse szarlej for POLISH people sounds a lot like butler which is considered royal and for the english version it gets more slavian. Sorry for the bad english i am POLISH so my phone keeps autocorrecting Stuff but remember its just a theory a witcher theory!
