do it, its nice, people are mostly welcoming new players, DE are one of the harder factions to play though, all elven factions actually

So glad you're learning dark elves, one of my favourite factions to watch such cool units/playstyle

Damn really wanted to see how effective that trebuchet turned out to be. Nice match tho for sure.

It is a glorious day indeed when Turin gets a chance to pull off the dreaded Dread Knight plays!

It's nice to see a variety of DE units getting value instead of just Malekith. I'm wondering if it would every be worth holding some cav units in reserve until MM procs then summoning them in.

Love seeing Dark Elves, their playstyle is fun to watch

Love seeing the Big Bads of the Druchii like Malekith and Lokhir dropping the hammer. Great game!

I can confirm that Knights of the Ebony Claw lose to Grail Knights in a head-to-head fight. Grail Knights cost some 250 gold more, but they offer more HP, an anti-large bonus of 18, a 15% ward save, and perfect vigour.

Super thrilled to see that cold one knights, once one of the worst units in the game price-wise, contributed so heavily to the win here.

Great game Turin! 👍🏻 This game could easily be a tutorial on how to deal with Bretonnia while looking cool in the process astride your big black dragon!

Malus Darkblade should get a variation of Gaze of Malice.

Companions don't ever feel like they do what they're supposed to do

Turin, have you tried using masters? They can be very good at countering units like paladins, have good anti large, and are quite durable. I Would think they would be great in this matchup

On foot - yeah. On dark horse - okay counter. But not on a cold one - it's too buggy and slow, even masters would have good stats and ap((

would Kharibdyss ever be useful in this matchup? i've tried it before, i feel like it theoretically works but it just never does much of anything

That match up is lopsided towards the dark elves. Their spears hit hard and counter Calvary well.

I'm so glad the Cold One Knights and Dread Knights are actually good, IIRC they sucked ass in TWW2 because they had *much* lower AP values on the regular knights and just weaker stats on the Dread Knights? But c'mon man, ELVEN DINOSAUR KNIGHTS, what's not to love?

I would absolutely play TONS of Druchi campaigns if I could stand dealing with the Slave Economy system.

It was changed in the chaos dwarf patch. Its pretty easy to maintain your econ now as long as you are fighting battles regularly.

Who doesnt like emo-elves performing... But bretonnia is such a one-trick pony, so you really really need to outplay your opponent (bar, some matchups) to win. Still the most glorious faction.

We need a least played lord tournament. Malekith soulstealer is almost as boring as Fey.
