It’s so cute how the babies talk with their mother. The one baby was so feisty even with mom, he just had attitude! 😂🤣 Will never think of raccoons as pets, but they always remind me of Bob Ross the artist who had one in his studio when it was a baby. He loved all those baby animals and helped release them back into the wild. He would have loved to meet you guys and watch you work!

Wow, that is the perfect spot to have a raccoon den, you can go down 'an watch em through the window without a wildlife camera setup, they dont even seem ta be damagin' anythin'. I suppose the homeowners had some reason to remove em but i woulda let em stay.

Awww poor mama is so scared. I’m so happy you guys are taking care of these raccoon family. I’ve heard horror stories of wildlife control or exterminators killing mom and either leaving, killing or selling the babies to people that either hurt them or don’t understand that raccoon cannot be indoor pets.

    - Jeez. Yeah I've heard of them trapping the mom && letting the babies die on their own. So sad. I let racoons && babies stay in my garage && we feed all the animals cat food at night. You won't find *ANY* garbage cans being knocked over in my entire neighborhood.

From watching your videos, five babies = the most common litter size. Where I live, it's unusual to see that many babies with a mother. I saw a brood of five with a mom _one_ time. The very next night, one of the babies was missing. My brother commented, "GHO" which meant "great horned owl". Maybe. We had no way of knowing, but it's likely enough that I correctly guessed what his acronym meant. GHO's are rough on small raccoon babies. Do urban raccoons have more kits than rural raccoons? Are the babies more likely to survive? I know there have been studies indicating urban raccoons are getting smarter because of living in close proximity to humans, but how does this play out with numbers?

yeah, but you aren't removing the raccoons... I know some people that do this down where I live, and when they trap a family of raccoons in a residential setting (like seen here) they drive them some 30 miles away and release them into the national forest. No offense, but you guys are just prompting the mom to move the babies from where she is at the moment - more of an inconvenience to her than a removal - it's still in the neighborhood, she is just going to go find another garage, or overhang, or other man-made structure in the neighborhood, and odds are you will be removing the exact same family a week from now a few houses away. Good for business I guess....

Yes, another successful job; all the babies are safe with mum. Judging by the time-lapse on the camera, I'd say they are safe and sound in the next-door-neighbor's window-well.😁🦝🐺
