The WILD Side of NO PREP Drag Racing - Wheelstands, Crashes and Saves

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Some of the wild No Prep Drag Racing moments that I have filmed over the years. All of the drivers were OK! I love filming this type of racing, but I hate seeing these hot rods get tore up.
My goal is to bring High Quality footage of some the best Heads Up Drag Racing, No Prep, Street Racing, Street Outlaws, Offroading, Mud Racing, Car Shows and anything else with wheels, While we are known for our 20+ years of Drag Racing coverage from Drag Strips all across the country and our Drag Racing DVD's, our main focus now is providing our URBAN HILLBILLY VIDEOS KZread channel a steady stream of new HD videos, as well as loading classic footage from the UHV vault. BIG THANKS to all of our subscribers!

No music, no filler, no politics, no begging for likes - 'just the facts.' I really like that you specified everybody is OK, and included the saves as well as the hits. Thank you!

What amazes me more than anything else is that we guys spend all that time and money making very powerful machines, going to events, and being ready in every possible way except for...... knowing how to handle a cars steering wheel. Before I ever drove a car on a dragstrip I knew how to slide one around. In this vid and most others I see at least 2/3rds of these guys are CREATING the wreck by steering to damn late. Guys you must steer / unsteer BEFORE the car has snapped back into traction.

By continuing to use damaged armco barriers that don't keep cars within the track and can slice a driver in half if hit wrong, especially when it has been hit multiple times previously. Why drivers run at facilities where the owners obviously don't invest in safety is beyond me.

Some tracks don't have the money to do all them things right now if they had the money I'm sure they would fix the problem.. and anyways it's the driver's choice to race his car on that track they know what there getting into before they even race.

@@matthewvarnam4302 you're exactly right ..our dragstrip was shutdown because the owner lost his IHRA sanction over the Armco barrier which had been in place since the tracks opening in 1964. It was originally an NHRA track till the early 80's then an IHRA track till the mid 2000's and had hosted divisional events till then. But now both sanctioning bodies claim you have to have concrete barriers till at least the finish line for insurance purposes to get sanctioned. The owner of our track had the concrete barriers given to him but had no way to haul or install them.

These mixed street races are just too much fun to watch. I'm a half hour from the Gatornationals track that these amateurs use, yet haven't yet been able to attend one. One day, maybe.
