But isn't Verin a Darkfriend? Or did she not join yet? (I didn't read the books, I only read the wiki)

SPoilersssssss Verin was forced to join the black ajah, aka darkfriend aes sedai. Instead of fully giving in to the shadow, she betrayed them by making a huge book of all the darkfriends names and other secrets. I think she found out hundreds of sisters in the tower who where darkfriends. Anyway in her oath to the dark one, it said she could not betray him until her last hour of her life or something like that. So she poisoned herself and in the last hour gave everything to eygwene and pretty much redeemed herself
