Lena, i have been watching wars since 1993 with Bosnia and have a dark side to them, too. Zelensky is more of puppet as a former comedian. Syria since 2011 has Assad ruling it and there was no sign of Sarin gas in 2013. Libya might be divided into two states. Russia might regain Eastern states and Crimea at the end. Gaza and South Lebanon are losing grounds for Israel so far. Putin is watching elections and thinks Trump is a better negotiator than a warmonger even with 2.0 Iran Nuclear Deal to avoid military action. Bush Jr. as a globalist had similar fate with Iraq and no evidence of WMDs that were destroyed in 1991.

Lena heads up about the Inspector General Zelensky is that he is promoted and not a salesman but an actor playing a role seems you are obviously fooled on unelected Zelensky. There hasnt been any lawful Election since Yanukovich and not Poroshenko who was put in during a sham election as 50% did not even vote, even less still when Zelensky voted. US is still working its other backup plan which is Bolivia and would minimize the loss. All Wars have been bankers funded even they fund revolutions for centuries Wall Street and Old London Towne and the biggest families stole the money from the Tsar and his relatives to fund the October Revolution and both revolutions in both countries Kaiser Wilhelm Prussia in 1905 and again 1917 but they allowed him to live because he didnt create a democracy government and they could fleece the it thru reparations also with the Austro-Hungarians Knew the Grand Nephew of the Empress , grew up knowing many Hungarians from the diaspora. Even those forced at gunpoint to serve the Hitler Youth parents were dead even if you refused so accepting was the only way to save their parents as the recruiters were backed by Waffen SS and Gestapo.

The most recent provocation was when Russia called us out for the Typhoon intermediate range missile system deployed by the US in northern Luzon. He's been in over his head since day one. Just a note every war fought in this region since 1991 has been a resource war. This is how fucked up US/EU foreign policy is in Europe they are dying for green energy in the middle east for Oil and soon in the SCS for natural gas. Every war is a resource war. BTW I said this was a resource war from the start as well. When the west sides with fascists and radical Islamists it's always about the money. Unfortunately Graham the little weasel that he is is right the west can't afford to lose control of all these resources if we do than we are done. I don't like it but it is what it is.

Thanks, Lena, for the video. What Lindsay Graham said about Putin sharing the lithium with China is totally illogical. If the US had respected the sovereignty of Ukraine and did not conduct the 2014 Maidan coup, then Ukraine would still remain a proper country. The natural resources of Ukraine would belong to Ukraine to be sold to any country that is interested to buy the product. Russia will not be invading Ukraine if the coup had not happened and Ukraine would still remained neutral as per its constitution. So, for Lindsay Graham to talk about Putin taking away the lithium is just a typical nonsense that the US and western neocons sprouted to excuse their actions in destroying Ukraine.

Lithium...wow that strikes a chord. It's no wonder US left Afghanistan in a hurry. The taliban wises up and defeated Al Qaeda to safeguard their lithium resources and war in Afghanistan is not sustainable anymore. So they brought the war nearer home by shelling Donbass, buying large parts of Ukraine antagonising Russia. The bulk of the burden now is on Zelensky's shoulder.

I always thought the old adage of "All wars are resource wars", was the best explanation, and the long years between the 2014 Maidan and Russia finally engaging in 2022, were Kiev's plan to take the land, but remove the uppity disagreeable ethnic Russians who lived on it. Russia would have been happy with a fair trade relationship with a neutral neighbour... happy to have Crimea under mutually beneficial 25-year lease arrangement... Russia would have helped Ukraine develop etc ... Only the West and its oligarchs, are so desperate for the resources, that it is willing to smash Ukraine (and the EU) into a pulp to get their hands on it. Russia has plenty of its own resources.. but forced into defending itself when the West kept upping the ante... Russia pissed off the West so much when rebuilding its economy after the fall of the USSR, when it wouldnt allow Western multinationals takeover and going for State-ownership of critical resources/services/essential industries... Since the West refuses "fair" trade practices, and they become more and more desperate, I expect more regime change ops, assassinations and US-backed terrorism.

Most established lithium deposits are around Mariupol, Russian region. There are other deposits elsewhere however. Iron ore is also a major Ukraine resource. It's always been the case that rich mineral reserves are mainly in the East.

Instead of arming Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan; US tax payer money should be spent on infrastructure, healthcare, education, homelessness etc.

Thanks Lena for such clear and concise reporting. You have clarified the mystery of this war for me. I find it hard to believe such cold blooded way of thinking.

Hi Lena, thanks so much for sharing these unbiased, objective, information, insights and analysis to understand the real reason for this "senseless" (from a common layman perspective) conflict. We just hope for a peaceful solution. Money can be earned and lost. Resources and businessess can be earned and lost (and earned again). Countries can lose and win (and lose and win again). Lives lost can never be regained. It makes it even worse for business interests/reason (to fight and die in a war, not for country or freedom or independence whatever). Video shared 🙏

The reason they are so intent in getting back Eastern Ukraine, that’s where the minerals are and also the oil and gas deposits. If only Ukraine honored the Minsk Agreement then Eastern Ukraine would have been still an integral part of Ukraine, albeit as an autonomous region.

The other option would have been to implement the Minsk Agreements, which included Ukrainian neutrality, & avoid war. A neutral state can trade & have economic relations with whomever they please, East & West. So, in a peaceful, neutral Ukraine, the US & Europe could have already been doing deals for purchase of Ukrainian resources. Of course, they would have had to do this in an open, competitive capitalist system, with competition from other players like China & Russia. Maybe neutral Ukraine would have chosen to do business with them if they were offering a better deal! I think this was the problem. The West didn't want fair, capitalist competition where Ukraine was an equal player with agency to make choices & maybe demand better prices for their resources, or to insist on "joint ventures" with majority Ukrainian ownership. We couldn't have that, oh no, no, no! They've now got Ukraine in a weak position, totally dependent on the West economically & militarily, & also already in serious debt to the West. The Western corporate vultures are already moving in & want to continue buying everything up for pennies on the dollar! With 10% for the "big guy" of course!😂
