The PSTV is amazing! If you mod your Vita and PSTV to use SD2Vita, you can straight up move the card between both, and bam. Surrogate Switch. Good times.

Someone actually made the VitaDock using some softmodding and a Raspberry Pi, it can even output 720p with some games.

I had the psvita and the psvita tv, they were awesome. Im extremely sad and disappointed at sony for not trying to make a proper handheld console again.

not a chance the reason Sony playstation is still alive is because of the PS1 and PS2 pass glory. Sony always make bad decision and too obvious mistake just look at they're phone terrible naming lack of innovation their tv and laptop don't sell they're just living off there pass glory. I have the PSTV and I love it! Honestly a pretty underrated console imo. It's a shame that not all Vita games are compatible, but it definitely had lots of potential for what it was.

I remember seeing one on sale for $15 at my local GameStop when I was 15 and I fucking bought a cheap ass controller instead and I've regretted it every single day since. Got a Vita the next year and adored it, modded it around when I was 20 and by the time I realized I also wanted a PS TV they were already double the original price...

I got 3 of them when they went on clearance in 2016. 1 @ 50 then a week later 2 more @ 30. All 3 of them were conplete with lego game. One I played with and 2 were just left in the box until I sold them last year. So much potential in them and could've went after roku and apple tv.

I bought 3 of them at Best Buy and kept them for a loooong time. Sold them all on eBay for $250 each like two years ago. Now they go for around $100

@@blad...I think it’s more so because it seems intentionally hamstrung. No OLED display, bad input lag and a complete reliance on proximity to the PS5. There’s no reason why Sony couldn’t bake full cloud streaming in, or at least a proper UI.
