    I remember going to a sox/A’s game as a kid, he was torching the A’s pitchers. Oakland fans behind us were shouting “You-kill-us”. Good times lol

    this is because he would grip the bat too tight , so that’s why he didn’t have all of his fingers on his bat until the pitch was about to cross the plate
