Alot of good pitchers are out from injuries right now including Gerrit Cole, but unlike them Ohtani can still bat and leading the majors in batting average hitting .365

Was at that game. That ball was MOVING, the whole stadium yelled when they heard the crack. Unforgettable.

A pitcher in rehab is leading the Major League Baseball in Hits, Runs, Doubles, Batting Avg, Total Bases, Slugging and OPS.

Hes after surgery. The potential to be the home run king if he pitches, would be the triple crown, if doesn't pitch. His focus changes every year, as if he enjoys winning all the titles. There will definitely be a season in a few years when he will be aiming for Cy Young.

2 years ago, shohei ohtani did something that will never be done again except by him. He got fourth place in the cy Young award voting, and second place in the MVP. He threw nearly 170 innings on the mound at the same time he was hitting 35 home runs. This guy is a once in a century talent.

I think I watched this clip over 10x, I could never get enough of watching ShoTime!!! Who else in MLB gets the opposing fans cheering when he hits a HR, he sells tickets and people come just to see him play!!! To all the haters outs there who still accusing him of gambling, just sit back and watch the 700million dollar man play baseball cause that’s all you all can do!!! Yeah, I was at the NATS stadium and it was really amazing watching the NATS fans cheering Ohtani.

The sound from the fans was unbelievable

I never watched baseball until I heard of Ohtani. What he’s doing is just awesome.

I think it wasn't actually a tommy John but either way his hitting has always excelled when his pitching was struggling. Now he can't pitch at all so his hitting is just. I can't wait till June, he's always a freak of an athlete during June.

National fans certainly got frustrated of their team's loss but at least many are happy that they got some money back from Ohtani's magnificent HR! 😂It's not easy to go to a game and watched 450ft and the fastest HR of the season (so far)! It's the best baseball entertainment every baseball fans love and felt happy about even for the losing team fans. That's why baseball fans paid for going baseball games! 😉
