I agree the guest isn’t average… I guess I meant a collector whose collection is about the passion for collecting… collecting what you like and not following the trend. This was refreshing and the message of collecting what you like and not buying a watch for the sake of doing so, and I can relate. My collection is currently at 300 watches; vintage, modern, independent and top brands as well. I know where each one came from and why it was purchased. I wear them all, from my 1960s Mickey Mouse to my top tier pieces. All that to say a great video. :)

Pretty unique perspective. It's really interesting seeing different collectors on their different journeys. His isolation from the general watch-collecting community meant the marketing he was exposed to was very different, more from representation in movies than word-of-mouth. He also doesn't baby his watches, that much is clear. And I wish he went into more detail on how much abuse the watches themselves suffered during stunts: A cheap quartz watch can out-survive a Casio if there's a beefy stuntman between it and the floor to absorb the impact from the fall. His confidence with how he handles the watches kinda makes me more relaxed about how I treat mine: If they can survive being worn by a stuntman, they'll probably survive anything I encounter in my daily life.

What an episode Teddy. This Mr. Tom beats Mark Whalberg's ultra luxurious expensive watches. He s a true Rockstar. It is the stories behind our beloved watches truely makes them priceless.

Awesome guest and awesome collection. Just to echo other sentiments, loved hearing a passionate collector who has a such an obvious relationship and shared experience w his collection. His watches are lived-in and personal. Love that he modded his SKX and bead blasted then blacked out his Panerai. Also YES! Why are spring bars the dominant technology for fastening straps?!?!

Thanks Teddy for introducing such a wonderful man to us. Thomas, your enthusiasm and relentless spirit to feature your personal watches in your roles out of passion is a mark of a genuine hobbyist. I enjoyed every minute of your interview and hope you reunite with your lake watch. Keep well. Faithfully.

Really liked this. Both the format, and the vibe from this guy. Much more relatable than the "Famous guy with 15 Daytonas"-interviews. Keep it up!

"Watch collecting was a solo journey". I can relate exactly to how you grew up loving watches. Starting with seiko's and swatches that I loved as a kid and now into the bigger luxury brands as well. The watch community is certainly different nowadays. Great interview!

What a great video. It’s been said already but a real down to earth discussion with a total watch nerd and man of action. Seeing tool watches in movies had a huge influence on me as well. You have to make another video with this guy if he finds his Sub!

How unexpectedly interesting! Tom the Stuntman and his watch stories (I almost couldn't believe when he just dumped his watches out of that fabric pouch onto the table). I also pay attention to watches (not just the Bond Omegas) in movies and on TV. This was a great interview.
