I'm sorry, but anyone who says that a GMT is an entry level watch is a massive tool. And to say it in front of someone who has considered their options very carefully and just bought one shows a complete and total lack of class.

@@alexghazarian1144 I bought two new Tissot’s this past three months. A day/date III black dial and a Couturier black dial with bracelet. The tolerances are so tight on the couturier that I was mad when I first opened the package as I thought it had an integrated bracket which I can’t stand. Lol. The tolerances and overall quality are to good to be true for the price. They’re worth every penny of retail. I own watches that msny enthusiasts can only dream about and these Tissot are very worthy indeed. I will surely be buying more. Just use a soft cloth and RO water to clean the crystal and polish the case and bracelet when you go out. It’s amazing how much a bit of work and pure water makes a watch look. Tissot FTW. 100%

Rolex is most definitely not entry level...I mean the guys don't even know how to properly set up the watch? Fair that not everyone is well versed into watches as much as us enthusiast but if you own the watch, know how to properly use it or how it works at least. Casio and Timex are entry level, maybe a Seiko or a Hamilton for a solid entry mechanical watch. Rolex and Omega are not first time watches, and this shows exactly why. I'd argue a Datejust is more entry level as you don't have to deal with the GMT function. Even a Tudor BB36 would be an excellent watch to start a collection and learn and get into how the watches work.

If you were even slightly a watch enthusiast you would know that’s bullshit. Saying a watch is to show wealth, after bashing your buddies hard-earned GMT really showed his character. A watch CAN be a way to show wealth. The people who do it purely as a status symbol are similar to people buying a brand new Lamborghini instead of a 69’ boss 302 or 429. Freaking thanks. I cried during this podcast but I wasn't crying because it was funny, I cried because this podcast told me "hey, when you were 13 you started to code, when you were 14 you were pushing yourself to be better, when you were 15 you still were pushing to be a better programmer and started doing design, now you're 16. You're still trying, you're still pushing but you need to do something more". Fuck me, thanks to this podcast now I'm going to use my skills and try to find someone that could mentor me and finally make some money from it. I'm grateful as hell to Nico because he educated about watches, then entertained me with his videos and now he pushed to do more. Thank you Niko, you're absolute legend and you're my hero.

He mentioned the value of one particular watch owned by a famous female rapper was not worth watch value plus value of diamonds since the watch was now essentially damaged
