I don't know there is a god, as the evidence doesn't support this being true. Truth is what the facts are period. So, where are the facts? What has been done to show it's true? By what methods has this been determined? Yes, I'm an atheist. I don't know there is OR isn't a god. Theists say there is, anti-theists say there isn't. Both have burden of proof which the middle ground of atheism does not. I disbelieve both of the other groups claims. Why do any of you think this is true?

I agree, a movie would be very entertaining. Try reading "the lost book of Enki" by Zacharia Stetchen. It gives perspective of the original gods that all other gods are storied from as translated from ancient cuneiform tablets. The annunaki were here for 430,000 years!

I have said that for years and not some fluff piece but a really gritty honest movie and we don't need Hollywood doing what they ALWAYS DO and putting a stupid love story going on in the middle of it. Just tell the damn story THE WAY IT IS IN THE BOOK OF ENOCH which is the most detailed account of it.

I have said for YEARS a big budget movie about the Native American wars with the Giants would be a great movie but anything to do with the watchers or their off spring would be great as long as they just stick to the story don't try to force some love story in the middle of it. And the way they made the watchers look in Noah was stupid.

Well just putting it out there, I’ve written a book but yet to be published. It’s a fictional story from the very start to present day and what’s going to be, if it ever becomes a movie it will be a blockbuster, at the moment I need to have it published, but seems impossible, with working life and wife and kids to see to. But I’ll keep trying to make it happen, the book/story is call THE DYING LIGHT, nothing happens unless something makes it happen. Keep my fingers crossed.

This helps me understand the hidden aspect of history so much. One sees why God responded so harshly to the first world and even later, after the flood to anybody connected to the Nephilim.

Yes. In the gnostic story of creation, the creator god in the Bible is a flawed creation himself, stemming from the fact that everything in the universe is a slightly flawed echo of the light that began it all. Valentinus believed that the demiurge (a name for this flawed god) was not evil, but made the same mistakes we did in creation. It makes sense, since we're all supposedly made in "His" image.

Dr. Michael Heiser said it best, “just because a book isn’t canon doesn’t mean it’s not important.” This is real and studying this book and others like it is necessary to have a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of spiritual warfare. IMO anyway.

The Watchers were tempted bc they took on the form of flesh. And they didn’t just choose not to return to heaven, they were forbidden. Also, angels in the Old Testament are always referred to as Sons of God, whereas, in the New Testament mankind is referred to as such.

I wonder why no one ever mentions or noticed that the names of the old testament changed so dramatically from what the new testament says , in a place that was totally black before evil Rome arrived. Went from Isaac, Meshac, Isaiah , Job and all the names of Afrika to Jim, Bob, Luke, John, Mike, Jerry, larry and Matthew. This very startling and unbelievable !

How do you know that the people of this time didn’t consider the angels gods. Those stories could have derived from what they understood about this event. Maybe this was their perception of the watchers’ affairs and the occurrences that took place after. Please be careful in studying this though, I believe the Bible warns against this. I don’t 100% know, that’s just my observation or thought. Although, isn’t it funny how they tell us that giants were nonexistent, and they only exist in fairytales. Well, that’s one lie debunked.

I mean, the Greek gods, specifically poseidon had all sorts of monstrous creatures as children like the cyclops for example. Not only that the Bible calls the nephilim, the heroes of old. I'm pretty sure this alludes to the demigods spoken about in pagan myth. Like perseus, hercules and theseus

There are some interesting parallels here to Greek mythology. Azazel, like Prometheus, teaches man things we weren't supposed to know. The Nephilim or the Watchers themselves can be seen as titans and some of the Nephilim are even described as the heroes of old, possibly figures like Hercules and Achilles.

It was definitely inspired by the book of Enoch. (Greek-roman myth as well). It sucks that the series got rushed & that one dude who got fired in the beginning of the anime's popularity spoiled the original origin story, and so the creators re-did the origin story and it sucks so much. Season 1 will always be the best.

@@jerm5466 "inspired" doesn't equal to "based". The creators put a lot of details in the show that are not uniquely original ideas. The word "Titan" comes from Greek mythology. And I read/heard this incident about attack on titan years ago. Whatever they tell the fans now is just gossip. I can't recall everything, but one of the original creators or associates did get fired for some reason and gave tons of spoilers.

If I may say something sir/madame I am quite learned in biblical literature and find it fascinating to learn about but from a more realistic point of view I can say with confidence that this creatures known as the watchers are a justification of sorts by the biblical writers to explain why men have tools,weapons,war,make up(yes you heard me) etc.This book of Enoch among other things tries to explain how man got to the point it was as of the time the writers where living in.

Here is 1 thing most dont realize, they come back. "It shall be in the days of Noah, they shall be eating, drinking, marrying, and given in marriage" (Go to Genesis Chapter 6, to see WHO they were marrying) Joel Chapter 2, speaks of the "Locust Army" "When they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded", Revelation Chapter 9 speaks of how they have power to torture men, who have NOT the seal of God in forehead for 5 months. (Whenever God refers to HIS people it's in days, the 2 witnesses, whenever he refers to the other, it's in months, 42 months for Anti-Christ. Yes I believe that to be very accurate. Not just in the greek but look how identical it is in all the religions around the world. Even the babilonian texts show evidence of this. You look at ancient anunakki texts as well and hieroglyphs you'll see evidence of the nephilim throughout all every culture that dates through antiquities. They hint towards the fallen Angel's and their hybrid children. They say in the antediluvian time there were close to 11 billion nephilim before the flood hit.

Not to mention when the flood hit, violent humans were presumably still all over the place and a reason why they were to be wiped out by the flood. Noah would not have had time to collect the animals of the Earth, if he had to worry about the innumerable violent people along with 11 Billion man eating giants, who also ate the animals of the Earth. Edit: Keep in mind the height of the Nephilim is suppose to be 3 thousand ells. That is over 2 miles long. Imagine that being in the billions. There probably wouldn't be much room on the lands of the Earth. Imagine how much they have to consume to satisfy their hunger on top of that.

I wonder if the fallen angels taught the humans how to build and use weapons to kill the Giants, their children. Because it was obviously out of control.? Who knows. Given that the lake of fire is the purifying, naked existence in the unfiltered presence of God, that will be interesting. Personally, I kind of have to winder about some elements of Enoch. A lot of the stuff about now popular conceptions of hell pertaining ti the concept of literal conscioud physical torture in flames for literally forever are actually greatly influenced, if not outright created wholecloth by gnostic beliefs. Biblical refeemces of judgment to fire and brimstone is a symbolic image of metalworking, where rather than a lake, as in a large, contained body of water, a small smelting pool used sulfer (brimstone) to remove the dross and purify metals. This image carries forward to the New Testament in regards to people's works being tested in symbolic fire where the perishable, sinful works, represented by hay, straw, chaff, would all be burned away, leaving nothing but whatever good and righteous works remain which are prepresented by purified gold amd silver and precious stones. Also worthy of note that the greek langjage used in reference to God's judgment through "hell" uses the term for painful, but nevertheless, corrective discipline for the benefit of tbe one being punished, rather than purely sadistic punishment done to inflict suffering for the pleasure amd satisfaction of the punisher.

The watchers corrupted the spiritual hierarchy of mankind. The women took these angels as their gods.

I would imagine it would be easy for those angels to claim they are God's to the people with the knowledge etc they had. And being very deceptive and having come from heaven and all. So how could they have known otherwise?

In that same story, The prophet at the time was Enoch. He is called Idris in the Islamic perspective and he went though this event and stood with God against the watchers. After this was over, his soul was taken to heaven and shown all the wonders of the visible universe and then he was transform into a Angel. We can decide if we want to be close to God and battle temptation though patience and restraint. Enoch is a sign for hope and mercy and God's love. Don't lose faith my friend.

@@justiceiria869 depends on what you mean by "religion," but to a large extent, yeah, it was taught to people by these fallen beings to worship them as gods who are not God. (Authoritarian governments and human dictators are basically man trying to do the same thing by playing God to dominate others). The letter from James in the New Testament says that true and undefiled religion that is good and pleasing to God the Father is to do good and neet the needs of others, especially to help the most vulnerable and the most likely to be ignored, taken advantage of and abandoned like orphans and elderly widows (basically summed up in "love your neighbor as yourself" and "do to and for others what you would have them to for you."), as well as to resist temptation and guard yourself from moral and spiritual corruption by the sins and evils of the world around us. Jesus saod it himself, the greatest laws that sum up the takeaway from all of the Law and the Prophets is to love God and love your fellow man. You effectively do one by doing the other because the very essence and nature of God is love. If you strive to love God and fellow man, you honor the spirit/intent of the divine law amd thereby practice "true religion."

But it's not 2nd temple literature. Even Paul wrote about the "testimony of Enoch". That word testimony, is the word used to describe writings. Gods "testimony" was his words he wrote in stone to Moses and the Israelites. A writing! Whoever told you that the book of Enoch is a 2nd temple writing is a liar and based his assumptive opinion on no facts.

Very well presented. I was wondering what the motivation might have been on the part of the Watchers to teach mankind all these things, and I think it was as you suggested, that they wanted mankind to be independent of God by giving them knowledge of the power of witchcraft, the making of weapons, searching for signs in the stars, etc. Seeking knowledge rather than obedience and submission to God was the reason Adam and Eve fell from God's grace in the beginning, and, using the pride of man, the Watchers sought to make them as corrupt and disobedient as they were. Folly, indeed!

This also suggests how the world’s religions came to be. All of the “gods” were just these fallen spirits who deceived humans into worshipping them.

It would make sense for ancient tribes of people to find a way to explain tbe existence of other religions who worshiped other deities, especially of they believe their own god to be the only true one. Its really quite interesting.

Enoch vision of Mountains and a Tree, and the Lord Jesus descends... I went from thence to another place, and saw a mountain of fire flashing both by day and night. Why art thou inquisitive to know it? Then I, Enoch, replied to him, and said, Concerning everything I am desirous of instruction, but particularly concerning this tree. He answered me, saying, That mountain which thou beholdest, the extent of whose head resembles the seat of the Lord, will be the seat on which shall sit the holy and great Lord of glory, the everlasting King, when he shall come and descend to visit the earth with goodness. And that tree of an agreeable smell, not one of carnal odour, there shall be no power to touch, until the period of the great judgment. When all shall be punished and consumed for ever, this shall be bestowed on the righteous and humble. The fruit of this tree shall be given to the elect. For towards the north life shall be planted in the holy place, towards the habitation of the everlasting King. Then shall they greatly rejoice and exult in the Holy One. The sweet odour shall enter into their bones; and they shall live a long life on the earth, as thy forefathers have lived; neither in their days shall sorrow, distress, trouble, and punishment afflict them. And I blessed the Lord of glory, the everlasting King, because He has prepared this tree for the saints, formed it, and declared that He would give it to them.

It was but Catholics didn't want it in. It was in the Ethiopian and orthodox bibles. It was in the original KJV of 1610 but in 1690 without reason was taken out. They also attempted to remove the book of revelations

Fallen angels taught witchcraft horoscopes astrology magic etc... Yahuah didn’t want us to know this knowledge because we wouldn’t use it wisely. We should focus on Yah and his son Yahusha and not mess with such things.

Unfortunately when I was a kid, my mom hired a tutor for catholic studies for some dame reasons. Anyway I remember a group of angels who went into the bodies of kids and took shape of handsome men. Had wives and kids but when God notice he got mad and sent a flood, the angels fled but was denied and cast back down to earth. Banish from heaven and became earth bond.

Imagine if a detailed, and true history, of a movie could be driven into the eye of man. Would you be scared or not?

This story reminds me so much of Adam n eve n the serpent in the garden of eden. Eve is targeted and tempted with the fruit of the tree of knowledge, she is the fruit and also the corruption of man and the garden that offends God the previous stewards defiled the creation and violated the vision of the holy one. That Satan was there in Book of Enoch. He is Gadriel/Azazel.

It reminds me of the supernatural series that the nephilim are stronger than either parent mortal or angel coz they inherit both the angelic powers and the human soul.In the supernatural series the watchers are referred to as the Grigori.
